I tried this before on my legs' scars. Don't think it did any good.. maybe my standard too high or maybe my skin got immune to any treatment as i tried on too many for scars. Guess like what my dermatologist from NSC said 'Time is still the best medicine'

Yap, it is sold in most pharmacy now. I bought mine years ago at NSC.

It reads that for fresh scars you have to apply 4-5 times a day daily for 8 weeks for results, & for old scars if you want results in 8 weeks you have to swim in it.

Time & tide heals wounds but the scars will take patience & a good cream.

I am mixing this into my night moisturiser but this will mean only once a day application - could be wasting my time. Hoping it will clear my facial scars - pimples.

Mederma is meant for closed wounds, my fren big sotong applied onto her acne. and she complaint it stungs her face badly and made her acne worst. So pls remember to use it after ur pimple/wound is fully recovered.
The pharmacist told me that it takes up to six months to see results. Have to apply it very patiently.....

oh.. i tried this few yrs back..
i applied it on my old scar on my hand.
i heard that coz when i was a child, my hand got 'crushed' by the lift door - ?? those old kind w no sensor.

it kinda filled up the scar. like skin 'grew' and fill it up. its not perfect but its not depressed. just made it less vague.
BUT... I agree.. u need to keep applying n massaging it into the scar. and wait...
be patient then will realise finally 长肉

I used to buy another brand called activa, rubbish product ahah. Use it everyday till i finish the whole bott still the same. Thought of buying another bott but my fren advised against it, why buy if its useless? Mayb you all can try rubbing pure vit e oil into scars? Prick open a capsule to rub daily, at least cheaper ba

Do note that oil doesnt cause acne, not those clean oil like olive oil, vit E, apricot kernel etc etc..it is the sebum stuck deep in pore and got inflammed that caused acne. I did apply when i have acne b4, doesnt affect my acne at all, in fact i used to apply apricot kernel oil as moisturiser but stopped 'cos too many things to apply, will start again for my scars, who know i need not do laser anymore???

How much is this mederma anyway?
