hi,
was searching on the internet and came across wen and weng medical clinic, was thinking of going to them for acne treatment but the reviews on this forum don't seem to be very good. Anyone got any advice or experience regarding their acne treatment? Is it good? How much are their prices and which doctor there is good? I saw a few posts mention about Dr David Tan but he is not listed on their website. Maybe has left?
Thanks a lot for all your help!
This thread has been dead so long.
Anyway, I visited Wen & Weng to reduce my open pores and acne scars.
I requested for carbon laser peel & fractional CO2 laser. Doc also gave me gel to apply.
It has been 4 mths since I 1st visited. I'm quite satisfied with the results.
Reduced acne outbreaks--> skin less red, more even skin tone, cuz less blackhead, so less itchy fingers to squeeze.
Pores are slightly smaller, scars also slightly less obvious.
Went to visit Dr Chee at Vivo, sign up package $1488 for 6 times IPL... he is quite a nice doctor, as he is not pushy. Wanted to try pixel laser but he told me for my skin condition IPL is good enough for my skin.
Looking forward to see him again 3 weeks later.![]()
looks like he has reduced prices. i got my first package at 1888 few yrs back. even with discounts, the subsequent ones were nowhere near 1488
read abt his suspension in the news today. heard that all existing packages will be transferred to dr toby. wonder why we were not informed at all.
Sigh~~ I feel sad for Dr Chee.
I've been with him for 1.6yrs. And I think he's good, compared to the previous doctors I've seen. My skin condition improved noticeably under him. His rates are also not that high compared to others, and sometimes, he'll throw in free treatments.
Every one wants to earn $$, but he doesn't appear that money-minded, and will not push you to buy things.
I happened to visit him on his last day, and he told me about it.
Doctors are human, and so do make mistakes at times. I guess he learns from his mistakes.
Frankly speaking, for a person who had not known him, will probably avoid consulting him due to his offence. However, for those who have been his patients for some time, will probably not forsake him. He's really a good doctor, and I will still recommend him.
Yeah i feel sorry for Dr Chee too. i've been with him since the start of the year and he is really a nice doctor. my skin has improved tremendously under his care. the only pimples are i have are the hormonal ones before my period.
When i asked him, at least he was honest enough to tell me the truth about what happened.
i still have one session of carbon laser with him though, he said he will refund me or transfer me to another doctor. but i told him i will wait for him to come back in feb next year and he will do the pixel and subcision for me instead.
Hi, has anyone been treated by Dr Toby? How is he? I was thinking of consulting Dr Chee, until I heard about his suspension, but some customers say that they'd still go back to him because he's good. I'm still thinking if I should? Does anyone also know how much is their laser treatment for pigmentation and if they have a package deal? Thanks for any info!
