Pore reduction and Blackhead/whiteheads

hi girls i've been having this problem since forever.. i have relatively good skin except for the area around my nose, which has ALOT ALOT of blackheads/whiteheads that seem to accumulate very very fast even after i sqeeze and remove them weekly.

i have tried quite a few over the counter products but still cannot work, so im super super upset and frustrated already, so far have tried dermalogica, cellnique, biotherm, bodyshop, anna sui, clinique but no result still.

do you girls have any suggestions/recommendations? i am very desperate for help already, i was thinking of going for botox even to reduce my pores and get rid of blackheads but then im just a student so no $$$

Poor thing.

I also have alot of blackheads and pores with pimples. After some spectra laser treatment my skin is much better and cleaner too.

I also dont think botox can make your pore smaller. See a doc and get some treatment!

kat.. where u do ur treatment and price ? Is ur pore very big last time? are your skin poreless now ?cause i gt big pore and i really hate it..

i think squeezing blackheads increases your pore size so it's better not to squeeze them out yourself?

i have lots of blackheads too (and clogged pores... yuck!) i find going for regular facials and regular use of this salicylic acid lotion from my derm keeps my nose relatively clean. so i think it's better to see a doctor too.

maybe mine is genetic cause my family member are also the same... **** so annoying... i tried alot of pore minimising product but still no use... my large pores are around my cheeks area so u can imagine how ugly is it.

i think blackheads are hard to prevent because of the skin constant sebum production and cell turnover.

I also have this problem ..whiteheads/blackheads on my nose.. and large pores on my cheeks.. hehe.. think i have to use some pores reduction product like the Kose massaging gel... My face jialat, dry, oily, sensitive, large pores, white heads, black heads, dark circles, fine lines, blemishes.. so so sad....

will it be drying to the skin? alot of product that remove large pores-whitehead-blackheads also tend to be very drying.

I use LRP Effaclar K for my wh-bh problem ... very good, but very drying too...

hi raindrops, actually it works more for the whitehead than the blackhead, anyway i only use this product only twice. Its really gd for the whitehead above the upper lip area, nose edge gap, cheek area near nose. As for blackhead, i actually apply on cotton & use like nose mask to soften the skin then rub (a bit rough but desperate for result) then pore expose. Now using kevin beauty maker liquid foundation to fill them up (pores) for make-up. Any good product for sealing the pore for good? After use, i actually wash off then apply my rose night mask so not sure about the dryness... Maybe i try tonight...

I know how it feels, I got huge pores and a lot of BH too. Hard to prevent and get rid because my skin is very oily. biore bh strip works but it makes the pores even bigger so I stopped using. Daiso's peel off mask not very effective as it's weak.

Hi, i'm back with the review. Ok i tried apply that & i did not apply my usual rose nite mask. Cheek area near nose not so oily, so it actually got a bit of oil control. As for other face area a bit dry coz i never apply anything only use that toner. But for the time being will still stick to this.

Btw, on the sample day my face got 1 ripe pimple, i actually dap the wet cotton (with the toner) on the pimple it burst & flatten the next day.

I am also having the same problem-BH & WH woes..i have tried many products but it just wouldnt work. i went for facials too and gone thru the painful extractions, it is cleared only for a while and after 2 weeks all the BH will come back again..arghh..
