Hmm.. maybe it's personally preference. La mer isn't that effective for me. I have dark undereyes, and some fine lines from wearing years of contact lens. I'm quite furious, coz the SAs always target my eyes when they try to sell me sthg
I've just finished a sample pack of sisley lip and contour cream, and i'm impressed. It's hard to see the effects of eye creams on me as my eye rings are perpetually dark. With sisley, i can see a slight improvement. The sample pack last me for 2 weeks or more.
I'm also trying out la prairie essence of skin caviar eye complex. Didn't see much improvement, and as it's more of a serum, it's not as moisturising. I can use an eye cream on top of it, but am afraid that i will overload the area and cause milias. The la prairie eye masks are good though, noticeable improvement in dark circles after treatment but for me, it's back to normal the next day. Good for very stressed out eyes.
Anyone has any milia problem, and any ways of ridding them? I have a few and thinking of having them 'burnt' away at a beauty salon. $25 per milia to burn, and recover in a week or so. I had the beautician tried burning 1 rather big milia for me, and it recovered well, except i grew back a smaller oneApparently, it's different from the laser that the doctor uses. Feels like ant's bites and it burns to even out the skin surface.
Dreamie, dod u say Sisley is not bad? I was thinking of trying this out after my Clea De Peau's run out. I have tried three bottles of La Mer and the effect is wearing off after the second bottle. So thinking of going for Sjal next (this one is super ex). How much is Sisley's?

OK, Sjal....well, I just used it last night so don't expect any miracles. Have yet to put it on for today, but here's feedback from last night.
Upon application, mu fine lines were softened and the entire under-eye area looked smoother and brighter. This morning, some of the deeper lines have softened a bit, and the darkest areas of my undereye circles are somewhat diminished. Skin under my eyes feels very soft and smooth...it used to feel dry and rough.
A promising start!
??? sounds like miracle cream ???! is it as rich as la mer in texture?

Miracle ???? I was expecting more...I mean, for that price! But my undereye area is really in bad shape, so I guess even the slightest improvement will be welcomed with joy...
I find it thicker than La Mer's eye cream, but otherwise, colour etc. is identical to La Mer's. Hmmm!

MAC Fast Response is suppose to treat puffiness not wrinkles nor dark circles .... so maybe you can use La Mer or Sjal & night & than MAC's for the day.![]()

Oh, I think you just saved me some $$$ sweetie! Puffiness isn't my problem. Does MAC have something to deal with dark circles and lines?

I am not sure but I hear the Moisture Feed Eye Treatment is good. Don't know what it's good for though ....
i don't remember it does anything, tried mine when the nice MAC MA gave me samples...had since given them all away!

ARGH! Just got my fast response eye cream for full price last weekend! Does anyone knows if it contains silicon? It makes the eye area very smooth, like some primers. However, it's not an eye treatment, just sthg instant to reduce puffiness. The moisture feed can be used at night as a treatment.

Dreamie ... yes, it does contain silicon.![]()

Oh no! Is that bad? Is it true that silicon will clog the pores? The SA said she has no prob with milias though.

Pan, I cldn't resist and tried the Sjal Orbe last night...hmmm..in terms of texture it is heavier than La Mer..more creamy but you only need a little bit to spread around the eyes. It absorbs very fast.
I didn't wake up this morning with any miracles...no lightening of rings nor reduction of wrinkles. Probably got to try the cream a few more times but I got a feeling that this is going to end up just like the usual eye cream.
Nah. I doubt it'll give you clog pores.Originally posted by "Dreamie"

But I'm not very sure! :o
I think I read somewhere that sillicon is pore-friendly, ie. does not clog them.
The problem with sillicon is that with long-term usage, it dries out the skin / hair. Maybe that's why I couldn't wear the Chanel Blanc Universel any more....after awhile, my skin just got really parched.
