yeah! I learned that from jaycelyn tay book...and i started diying my own honey and oat meal mask! It works as a great gentle scrub and hydrating mask and honey has lotsa good ingredients. Jaycelyn also recommended using manuka which i think u use that too right? But it's like so ex.....i dun have the heart to use my manuka honey too much....
ya, im using manuka honey but it's not cheap. what honey do you use?
i use manuka honey but i have two different bottles with diff umf....one umf 16 (bought this for consumption) and umf 8....i know the higher the umf, the better it is....but does that apply for the skin too? do u think we can use normal honey?
i don't think you can use normaly honey cuz i read that it doesn't have the ingredients inside which can help to soothe and moisturise skin. manuka honey is one of the honey's that has it. how many teaspoon of oats do you usually use for your mask? i'm using Quaker oatmeal, are you using it too?
oh okie....then guess i have to stick to my manuka honey then. Yepz I'm using quaker oats too! i use about 2 teaspoons of oats....with 2 teaspoons of honey....not too sure whether i'm using the right amount....but it fits my face nicely
erm, you don;t add water? i added like about 4 drips of water so that the oats can mix well in it
yeah i do add water cuz i keep my honey in the fridge and it's quite hard to mix with the oats without adding a few drops of water. I just wet my fingers and sprinkle a few drops on the honey, enough to liquify it a little but not too watery....i like my paste to be thick.
