If you like milk/lotion makeup removers, you can try
    1) Simple cleansing lotion.
    2) Johnson ph 5.5 cleasing lotion.

Some ppl actually use baby oil to remove their makeup. I personally havent tried using it yet, but i think i shall stick to simple cleansing lotion, cos i dont wanna risk breaking out! yikes!

Don't think baby oil is a good idea..... may clog pores.

I'm using Freshel cleansing gel from WOM-B (wheelock place) - rec by the SA there. Very suitable for for eye m/u too - mascara, e/s and cleans really well.
Aaffordable buy, somewhere around 15 bucks or so.

how about the sofymo(sp?) makeup removing oil or water? Its not exactly found in drug stores, but its a REAL steal at just $12-$13. i see it alot at sasa, lee ***, wom-b. Not sure about the effectiveness tho, never tried it before. My current love is fancl's cleansing oil, quite a good deal for the price I think, $30 for a pump bottle that expires in 4 months.

For drugstore makeup remover, my vote goes to Johnson Ph 5.5 cleansing Milk.

I like the way it works on my skin. Not too oily like Loreal which i tried too and this one has no frangrance which i like too. It works even better than Nivea which i used b4 finding this one.

Usually i use it to emulsify my KP cleansing oil. I like the way it becomes more watery as i massaged it on my face. So it's good as a emulsifier for my cleansing oil.

I did use the softymo makeup remover water after the super white cleansing from that range too.. Used for around a year.. I find it quite useful. Only recently, about the panoroism i've about mineral oil (which the cleaser contains as one of their ingredients), i changed it to a clay makeup remover. But i still prefer the former. I think i will just go and buy back the former as long as it doesn't give me any problems in the 1st place. Anyway, i found that there are a lot of makeup remover out in the market that contains this too.

yes! that's only more reason to love fancl's cleansing oil, cause their products doesn't contain ANY mineral oil hehe.... go try it, you've LOVE how effective it is, plus, it rinses off so well that you won't believe you just used oil to clean your face! Its really cheap for that kind of quality.

fancl's selling point is that ALL their skincare and even cosmetics contains NO preservatives whatsoever, hence after opening, you have to discard w/in certain number of days (usually is 60 or 120 days, cosmetics lasts 4 mth to 6 mths). Hence you can be assured that all their products are absolutely fresh.

I can tell you that this cleansing oil removes even the thickest threatre makeup I have on (you know those oil-based stick foundation from cosmoprof for theatre use? usually, even using baby oil requires 2 applications before I can remove them completely). You apply $0.50 coin size and massge, you'll instantly see your makeup melting away, then add a few drops of water to emulsify the oil, you 'll see your makeup and the oil turning milky white. then you rinse off, VIOLA!! cleansed face that is silky and soft to the touch! I find this product to work better than KP and Shu's cleansing oil, more effective and easier to rinse off.

I also use this on days when I have no foundation on because its so mild. Its comes in 2 sizes, 60ML for $17 and 120ML for $30. if you're unsure, do try out the 60ML one first, you'll be sure to buy the full size next round! The only regret is that I should've tried this sooner...

and it cleanses eye makeup + waterproof mascara too! now the only problem is to decide what to do with my remaining e mu remover...

    the fancl gd sound good!

How long can 1 bottle last b4 expiry for the small bottle?

My KP one is running out and i'm itchy to try new brands.. problem is i only need to use it like 2-3 times a week so i worry *** i will have un-finished one when the expiry date is up and so wasteful ***

You naughty gal.. Describe till so good.. Makes my hands itch on getting one to try out..
But wait a minute.. "I also use this on days when I have no foundation on because its so mild. " If its so mild, how to remove m/u till traceless?? *Curious*

what I meant by mild is that there is no chance whatsoever that this product can 'over-clean' your face, meaning, even if you have little/no makeup on, you can still use it safely. BUT it also cleans makeup very well. I'm not familiar with the 'mechanics' of this product, but the reason why is probably because its oil based, hence dissolves foundations and waterproof mascara effectively. and ever since I found this, I sold & gave away my 4 bottles of cream cleanser (biotherm, dermalogica, EL, clarins) hehe....go buy the half size to try, you'll LOVEEEE it!
