    Hey mavue,

I second EL's Take it Away too for lotion/cream remover. Cleans very well for a lotion makeup remover and leave face very clean and yet not oily at all. It cost S$38.

I think Fancl is really good, didn't give my sensitive/oily skin any breakouts. You might wanna get the 60ml bottle just to try it out. Its $17 for 60ml and $30 for 120ml.

Fancl's not bad but i've never tried others so this would be the best for me
Fancl removes even the most stubborn mascara - Baby Pink!

Sounds like Fancl would b the best option for me since it's more accesible(Sg is nearer to My) and I still prefer cleansing oil(think it removes more thoroughly ). Thanks so much for all the feedbacks.

    Default Make Up Remover

Must admit by now that we make up. Be it for looking better or for the sake of the art. I must admit that applying make up is a process that I enjoy.

But I really really hate the process of REMOVING it. The feeling is like after a tired day out, I still have to spend time removing make up. ARRGGGHHHH

I am not as particular about removing make up as I am particular about applying make up. Currently, I am using Loreal Cleansing Milk. In the past, I used to cleanse with just Biotherm Cleansing Foam.Lazy right? But I thought that it removes and cleanse quite well. For a while, I thought I had found the perfect solution.

It was till the SA at Biotherm told me that it was so WRONG to do that. According to her, so far there is not a facial foam/cleanser in the market that removes make up at the same time. IS that true? Does any of you happen to know of any 2 in 1 cleansers?

At least for my skin, it is true. Even milky wipe-off removers leave a residue on my skin and I always double cleanse when I have makeup on. Foaming cleansers fare worse than creamy ones in removing makeup imho though both cannot do so entirely. When I first started using makeup, I use only a foaming cleanser and my pores got all clogged up and blemishes popped up all the time.

Actually I think there still are such products. However, most of us would still double-cleanse. IIRC, there's Clinique (can't recall the name) and EL (Splash Away). These are foaming cleansers that you rinse off with water. I think Biotherm's Invigorating Cleansing Milk also works similarly but I could be wrong.

What many Cotters use are the cleansing oils by Shu Uemura, KP, Fancl and Covermark. They remove everything, including waterproof mascara. Even so, we follow with another cleanser to make sure NOTHING's left behind that'll give skin nightmares later on (the clogged pores and such).

You mite wanna check out related threads on the oils here

I've been wanting to try the L'Oreal Cleansing Milk. Is it good, Peace?

hi Glossie, i'm using the loreal cleansing milk. it's decent enough! has fragrance, cleans off cream blush in one swipe, but i've honestly never tried it on foundation though!
