Wow, I just read your introduction...so envy you of your course .I should have gone into this line years back. My fav topic here is skincare, so I always zoom in here when I login. I seldom go to the rest, *paiseh*
Never been to Thiru's clinc as I'm a poor lady here. Use mainly drugstore brands, except for nite usage of Neostrata lotion and retin-a.
do you still get breakouts or just pitted scarring?
and retin a cream or gel? how many %???
neostrata lotion works well together with retin-a but better to use the cream coz it's stronger. some people cannot tolerate the redness though.
daytime must use sunblock if you want to lighten your freckles... neostrata also has a lightening gel which is quite good when u use together with a sunblock
did u *** u can use the neostrata gel as a mask?
it works much better than just applying...
wash face with neostrata PHA cleanser, then apply with a clean makeup brush and continue to apply for 10 mins for a total of about 10 mls.
if stinging, can blow fan to keep cool... leave it on about 20-30 mins (start with 20 for the first treatment, then if your skin can take it go to 30 or longer)
rinse off with water - lots of it!
Where is Derma RX by the way?

Only has zits, luckily no pits yet.
I'm using the cream 0.1%....lol....the strongest strenght for my hide. I read that the gel is absorbed into the skin better than cream. I alternate this neostrata n retin-a with my loreal nite cream (my new found luv cream)
Using that lotion as a thick mask? I find it abit oily for my liking actually.
Tried hydroquinone on my freckles before but its useless. Dr Tan told me mine is inheritary, called some "holi...." forgotten as avoiding the sun is useless too, hence need laser for this. You know the name?
DrRx? the address is somewhere embedded in one of the threads, sorry, can't help on this, think the rest can help you .

no pain no gain was a common saying in the past
but actually there is a way... the new generation of zero downtime lasers will smoothen wrinkles and scars with minimal flushing , in fact can use makeup 1/2 hour after the procedure, because it works on the deeper layers and does not affect the superficial skin.
however the pain shift from the skin to the pocket! not cheap u ***.
i have a friend who is setting up an aesthetic clinic in about 2-3 months time, so those interested can PM me and I'll put u on the "friends" list![]()
No ideal what this term means. Zero downtime laser? Blur but if for freckles at zero cost, count me in......Originally posted by OKpocky
is it melasma?LOL
zero downtime laser basically means you can pop in for a treatment lunchtime and back to office after, hot date in the evening... 2 weeks later after the collagen grows under the skin it will be more beautiful![]()
cheers.
Don't worry, you still have your old good pair of "cars", plus the public transportation system.![]()
Think we deviate from the topic already, sorry Ponine......
"Cars" = legs in hokkien

Never been to Thiru's clinc as I'm a poor lady here. Use mainly drugstore brands, except for nite usage of Neostrata lotion and retin-a.But could I ask you where you purchase your Neostrata pdts and how much it costs ? I'm wondering if my doctor is overcharging me outrageously by quoting me a price of $60 for the lotion ?
Hi gemz, I got my oily skin solution at $35 and the smoothing lotion is $35 too (My friend bought this) at 8to11 clinic last year.
Even buying from neoasia directly shouldn't set you back at $60 for the smoothing lotion, if I'm not wrong. They can deliver it to your doorstep for free if your purchase is above $100. Not sure if they still have this plan but you can check their webby for more details. Contact obtained from webby is 65527787.

Forget to add, the doctor over there is a GP, not a dermatologist, so I didn't mention his address here. You can search for it as Pauline has previously noted it in another thread.
I guess you got the same stuff at a higher price for he/she is a qualified dermatologist and you're paying a premium for his/her expertise ***.
agree
most derm charge up front consult 35-50, some even more!
anyway about the cream, price varies from time to time, the inside on this is that the sales people get commission too!
i don't carry neostrata yet, but if you want i can check up the price for u.
