I've done my 2nd chemical peel @ Skinlab medical spa yesterday. I was so satisfied with the result so I decided to sign up their package. The package was not cheap, however, I am willing to pay since I was able to see very good result just on my second peel. Not like those beauty salon wherein they will keep on asking you to top-up to get better result. Lame.. haha..
Consultation
I was also able to meet Dr. Kelvin Chua in person. He was really nice, sincere, very detailed and not in a rush. He also will tell you what your skin needs. I would really wanna go for laser to clear my acne & acne scars, but then he said I don’t need to do that as my acne is only concentrated on one part of my face (chin area) so chemical peel can do it in just one to two months.
Medication
I told him I am using differin but he said, he feels that differin is too light for me so he prescribed me Epiduo gel (0.1% / 2.5 %). He told me to use it on my affected area only at night. He said if still does not stop my acne then he will give me oral medication. Since I am really eager to cure my acne problem, I told him I am open to oral medication if he allows me. So he told me about the no giving birth thingy..and then he prescrived me Acnotin 20 (Isotretinoin).
Today, my face feel so clean and my acne really subside. My face looks clear than before and skin was so supple (I am also using Hakubi B & C). I also purchased their line of products: Sparkling Smooth clean (cleanser), Sparkling Tone (toner) and Daily Protect SPF 50 gel (moisturizer). I’ll give all of you a review after one week. But I used all these products this morning and they all feel light & gentle to my face.
All in all, I am a very satisfied customer. No hard-selling and for me they value their clients plus you will see results immediately.
