How about using Lancome's Resurface Peel? It's a DIY home-peeling using using glycolic acid.

i am pessimistic, chemical peeling works at glycolic acid concentrations > 20%, which is a prescribed concentration.

how high is the acid concentration? i didn't know that acids can be bought outside, are those pure ones? i did chemical peel and its therapeutic AHA-Acids which is the second strongest acid used for C.P in the hopsital

i heard it's also called lunchtime peel.

that isif u are using the low concentration ones, there'll be no redness if ur skin ain't sensitive.

Heard that the redness will subside within 2-3hours on the same day of the peeling itself. As for peeling wise, your skin start to peel in about 3 days after the peel but there will not be very visible flakes on your face. You will feel that your skin is peeling when you are washing your face and the dead skin will just be rubbed off. It would not affect your daily school/work.

    Hi gals,

Is chemical peel suitable for oily, blemish-prone and sensitive (should be very senitive) skin? I'm very tempted to try. Want to clear all my scars from my recent breakout.

Heard great raves about Raffles Hospital at Bugis. Reasonable pricing as well. $100/peel and $320/4 peels. Have seen good evidence that they work for some people.

    bliss,
yes, suitable for oily skin. Not too sure for blemish prone and sensitive skin. I don't think it can work on sensitive skin coz' it will aggravate it.

raffles hospital increased their pricing, last time as $80.

Will the folks at Raffles insist on taking up other procedures along with the peel to enhance the result? some local clinics insist on this.

must patient 1st seek consultation before the peel? any name for the peel they are practising? TIA
