    1. What do you look for in a cleanser (e.g. moisturising)?
    - cleans well
    - no tight after-feel
    - smells good
    - Reasonably priced

    2. What's your favourite cleanser? Why?
    - KP oil for m/u removing. Love the citrus scent too. For double cleansing i use TBS's passionfruit cleansing gel.

    3. Where did you purchase this cleanser and how much did it cost? (e.g. moisturising)?
    KP is $55
TBS passion fruit is about $18 i think for the big bottle

    4. Is there anything special about your favourite cleanser?
    Very gentle, not too foamy.

    5. what type of cleansers do you prefer - foaming, non-foaming, milk cleansers, oil cleansers...?
    Low foaming/non drying types.

thanks for the clarification, atypical! thank YOU!

come to think of it, you did mention milk, now why did i think it was the foam cleanser instead? i must have been hallucinating! probably just my usual "sotongness" acting up again :sotong:

just realised i've yet to get to the point of this thread, so here it is :

    1. What do you look for in a cleanser (e.g. moisturising)? preferably all-in-one that removes makeup, grime and everything off my face, feels good on my skin, doesn't sting my eyes, doesn't leave my skin raw and red, fragrance is important, as well as texture and packaging, should preferably come in a pump bottle and ideally doesn't cost too much.

    2. What's your favourite cleanser? Why?
dermalogica's dermal clay for its menthol cool freshness; eucerin protective wash lotion cos it complements my dermal clay (dermal clay softens while eucerin smoothens)

    3. Where did you purchase this cleanser and how much did it cost?
leomard & drake or clinique d-esthetique for dermalogica's dermal clay, >S$80; guardian for eucerin, i believe the price is in the vicinity of S$16.

    4. Is there anything special about your favourite cleanser?
dermal clay - contains menthol thus leaves me feeling cool and refreshed, gentle, softens my skin, doesn't leave my skin dry and doesn't hurt my eyes thus I use it to remove mascara as well, rocket-high price; eucerin - great fragrance, leaves me clean and smooth but not dry

    5. what type of cleansers do you prefer - foaming, non-foaming, milk cleansers, oil cleansers...?
    non-foamy, milk

i tried using garnier light foam and sk2 facial cleanser and i find that it doesn't really clean my skin well.i'm so used to washing my make up of with just my whitia foam and when i use a toner, there's nothing left on the cotton pad.but with the garnier and sk2 ones, there was lots of stuff on the cotton pad after wiping my face.and it feels like i'm washing my face with plain water.i guess the cleansers are to gentle for me and i can't be bothered to use a separate make up remover everytime i wash my face.

Have u heard of Paula's Choice? I'm currently using the cleanser and it's a one step cleanser where it can remove make up (eye makeup inclusive) too. It's gentle on the skin and I swear by it!!

Hi sawadee! Yup, I've heard many favourable reviews for Paula's Choice too. But when I contacted their distributor to inquire how I may purchase the products, I get the impression that it's marketed via MLM (which for some reason, I have an aversion to) in Singapore . It's only an impression, of course, but that was sufficient to put me off.

But from the many good reviews I've read, Paula's Choice seem like a very good brand with many good products!

I've tried the PC one-step cleanser. It's too gentle to remove make-up, particularly eye make-up. IMHO, it's an average product. If you are looking for a gentle cleanser, cetaphil is a better bet and it's cheaper.

For me, it's the trusty Shu or KP cleansing oil, followed by KB cleansing grains.

The PC cleanser doesn't work for me too. I passed it to SO thinking he is less picky. He complained it leaves a film on his face. Now it's banished into a dark corner in my bathroom.

Blossomcharm-> Don' think it's MLM. I don't see 'pyramid', upline, downline. I joined their member at the Australian website and paid AU$10 (or AU$15?) for a one-time payment and get all the products at a discount. I think some other sites do that as well. Save quite a bit of $$$

Don't think gals in Sg can buy PC skincare from the australian PC site anymore but you can still buy their makeup items. For skincare, you have to get them from the local distributor.

Was a PC products user, their products are so-so in my opinion. The gentle cleanser is TOO gentle and didn't really cleanse well. Even after a few swipes of toner, the cotton pad's still filled with grime (or rather my skin is a mud swamp? ).

2% BHA solution/cream is so oily and broke me out after 3 months and the blemish fighting solution burns my skin

Rac, I finally found someone with the same problem. I told one of the ladies who distribute PC that the 2% BHA is oily. She gave me the  look and thought I was joking with her.

Oh! You are definitely not alone!

The solution is definitely oily stuff. I find the lotion better, not as oily. Then again, my skin was fine using this until 3 months later. My skin's like a volcano waiting to erupt on me and it did! :piss: I used the BHA lotion on my arms where there are tiny bumps and I think it helps a teeny little.

oh dear, I must have been mistaken about paula's choice then. sorry. i thought it was marketed via MLM cos the distributor gave me a mobile number to contact their sales personnel, which gave me the impression that there's no shop selling the products. also, i got the same type of reply from nuskin thus i suppose i automatically categorised PC under MLM.

sawadee, i've never tried any of the products, but the gals at MUA seem to find the products effective, particularly for blemish-control. now that i know it's not MLM, maybe i'll give it a try...

but since both raebelasian and Dimples didn't find PC effective, maybe it's more of a YMMV thing? (is that proper usage of the expression?)
