OMG!! sounds horrible...Don't think i will ever try...Originally posted by edithberri
hi bubblypink, are you sure you wan to remove the mole? it can be quite painful. especially the injection, i had an eye surgery not long ago for a cyst in my eyelid. they had to inject the painkiller into my eyelid which was very very painful , you can feel your eyelid bloating with the liquid. moreover the laser surgery it painful too. it hurt even after the injection. thankfully, this time the laser surgery is on the face and not the eye.![]()

I thought is just applying some cream over it, & it will dry off & hence peel off. Guess i am wrong then...
Thks for ur info edithberri![]()
you are welcome!![]()
k all cotters, i know that i just went for a mole removal surgery. but there is this one mole that seems to be growing back within a month or removal. either that or the doctor did not clean the area well. now i am wondering what to do. should i go back to him or should i jus get those type of mole removal cream to use? i mean this is just a light and small mole. maybe the cream will help?
upset
moreover after going through all the pain and spending the money, its recurring so fast. but in my opinion, i think the doctor didnt clean the area enough!am angry, frustrated and sad...
please all lovely cotters. any help or suggestions would be very very greatly appreciated.
Maybe this mole has "deep" roots. Did you use laser surgery? Maybe Laser will help to remove the roots.
Moles recurring? You better go see a doc. Moles that changes in apperances are to be taken note of. And I think moles that are removed and appear again, should also be paid attention immediately.
I've had a mole removed from my face before...twice
First time I had it lasered off...it came back and was darker than ever!
Then some years later I decided to get it surgically removed, as in cut out...doc did a wonderful job. No scars..nothing! One small mole and he sewed 6 tiny stitches..so tiny so there'll be no scarring![]()
And he also sent it for a histology test...just to check if it's cancerousAlso when he removed the stitches..no pain at all (he's known to be very good at painless suture removal)
So my advice is if it's a mole, get it cut out rather than lasered or cauterized (burned off). Also getting it cut will leave no scarring at all..unlike laser or cauterizing. HTH
thanks gals. i removed it through laser surgery on the 30th jan 2004 at shenton medical group. i expected him to do a good job. right now i don know if the mole is growing back or he just didn't clean it well enough.
if it has really deep roots, i presume it will be as what sharon mention. surgically remove the mole. also i thought laser would be good, didn't know that incision would have been better.
so sharon how much did you pay for the surgery and where did you do it? i would be really thankful for your help.
also i would consult my doctor in the mean time.
p.s. thanks sharon, zjaninez and fornight for your help.
Hi! Anyone has their mole removed? I have an mole on my right brow which seems to be growing.Anyone has recommendation where I should get it remove?
If yr mole is growing, i think you better go and see the doc. Because some mole can be cancerous.
You can differentiate normal moles by taking note of their size and do look out for hair growing out of them. This is an indication of moles that are normal.
Hi! I have a lot of moles on my body and I am constantly very aware of them. I always cover myself up in long pants and 3/4-sleeved tops because although I am satisfied with my figure, I have many many moles on my limbs and I won't want them to be attracting unwanted attentions. I would really love to be able to wear sleeveless tops and mini skirts without the troubles of exposing the many many moles on my legs and my arms.
Any recommendations on where I can get them removed safely and without any scars? Thank you!
one of my friends went for FPL at DRX clinic for the removal of a mole on her face. it's however a costly procedure and you need a few sessions to for somewhat complete removal. i'm not too sure about other cheaper procedures. hopefully someone else will be able to help you. have you spoken to a doc/derm before?
also, could you do us a huge favour by doing a self-intro at CozyBabes? it's a forum for new cotters to say hi, write a short intro and for the rest of us to say hi. see you there.
Definitely get a derm to do the removal and check at the same time if any of them are malignant. I have a lot of moles as well but since mine are hereditary and I always see new ones developing, I don't think I'd want to remove any unless they are cancerous. :puke:
angie
where can we get those mole removal cream as mentioned in the above posts? TIA!
