I dont know, this brown spot has been on my cheeks since i was a kid, maybe b/c sun damage, n i have little scar too :puke:

since i don't know what sort of brown spot it is, why don't you go to DrX and let them analyse?? their products work for almost all problems...

I've got this little round dark reddish-brown spot at the side of my eye area. It just appear today only, suddenly!

From far looks likes a mole, but at close range, its a flat, round spot, darker than my freckle. No ideal what it should be called, any expert here?
Definitely not my usual freckle or pimple, I think it looks more like "lao ren"spot , those you can find on your hands.

I doubt whitening skincare can lighten it and I'm a sunblock and whitening serum user. help......

Sounds like pigmentation (liver spots). I got those too. Nothing seems to make them disappear ... FPL sessions at DRx more than a year ago seemed to have lightened it a little bit but it's still there. You might like to check with Dr Tan about getting rid of it. In the meantime, make sure you wear sunblock - load up more on that part of your face .. pigmentations always show up there 1st before spreading.

Not pigmentation but its a small dark colored spot. Ay, my face has enough of spots

I agree with Sky. my mum's friend had quite a few of those liver colored spot on her face. She had them lasered out and now her face looks alot clearer.

With so many products in the market, claiming to lighten/whiten freckles. Which of them you have tried which is effective?

I have light freckles on my cheeks. Any suggestions??

I am using Ettusais Acne Whitening Mask, very good in reducing my acne scars. The SA told me that it helps to reduce the freckles too. But some cotters mentioned that Ettusais Whitening Mask or Whitening Essence is better in whitening freckles. U can have a try? I am also using the Acne Whitening Spray. My body is whitened a bit after using it for a week.

Or else SKII Whitening Source. I am using it too, very good in even out my skin tone. To lighten the freckles, also have to use to for longer time to see the result.

I have used it for 1 month+. Mm.....the freckles are still on my cheeks. For those light freckles, they are lightened a bit. Those darker one, still there..... I think it may need longer time to see the result. :roll: But, it does the good job in preventing further pigmentation on my freckles & acne scars. My Acne scars are fading fast now and no pigmentation so far. Of course, beside whitening source, u have to use sunblock in daytime & whitening mask sometimes too. Then, it helps to whiten the freckles faster.

i've got quite a lot of freckles on my nose and upper cheek area, but have tried using EA capsules, the brown ones containing vit C and they seem to work quite well, they've lightened up quite a bit.

some people tell me freckles are cute, but urgh, i don't like them... and i'm quite paranoid that i'll get pigmentation as i get older. the only thing is probably to stay out of the sun as much as possible, when i return from a holiday at the beach the freckles seem to darken a hundred times over... and a hundred more seem to pop up... (ok a bit of an exaggeration) but yup, best option is to just avoid the sun, oh and of course use sunscreen.

Sunscreen + whitening products are definitely helping to lighten the freckles & delay the aging-process.

i think you might want to layer on sunscreens with higher spfs when you go to the beach.... i avoid the beach....
