Shoes at workplace

Hi all,

I was wondering whether its common practice to wear high heels to work, and then slip into sandals when u reach your work place. My work place has a lot of guys, like not very glam to walk around in sandals, somemore I am really short!

But on the other hand, heels the whole day kills my feet.

Any similar experiences?

'cos my office is carpeted so we change into slippers or flip flops when in office and change into heels when heading out =)

For me we are somehow discouraged to do that because I am in the executive office and looks not so nice.

However what I do is to slip out of my shoes when I am at my desk.

solution: wear low heels!! I think a little heels look nice and you don't hurt your feet so much.

my workplace requires me to wear shoe of full black
even my uniform is full black... .. feel a bit like black society

Like heel shoes and afraid of them at the same time. but new it is winter i prefer to wear some warm boots, such as UGG boots.

When I wear heels to work, I will usually change into slippers when I stepped into the office and never get them off till I knock off again. A bit illogical to be honest. I even go for meetings in slippers. lol

baobei, just wondering whether this http://www.chic-babe.net/ product is really feasible? i mean okay, it really has quite a cool concept, but would people really want to touch dirty shoes and twist and fold them after they have been walking on the road for some time? how do you personally keep those flats when you are changing shoes?
