Where or how can I dye my black leather Oxford booties?

Okay, so I love my Oxford booties from Aerosoles. But I'm getting sick of the fact that most of my footwear consists of black.

I'm way too broke to buy anymore shoes for the time-being...

Does anyone know if there's any way I can dye my black shoes dark brown or burgundy or something like that? I've heard it's risky and may damage the leather, but apparently people do it for you professionally? Do any of you girls know of places where they'll dye your leather shoes for you?

You can't dye a black color to another color. You can't dye a brown to red etc... You can dye a yellow to green, or a blue to purple etc... and almost all colors to black or brown.

Also you can't dye patent leather.

For color change you have to go to a cobbler.

Yes, I've heard that black cannot be dyed to another lighter colour, but I read somewhere that it's possible and that someone has successfully done it (professionally, of course).

I'm just wondering where in Singapore this can be done. Thanks, though!
