    Instant Arches

    Hi everyone!

I hope someone can give me some advice! I am in some serious need of a foot pain alleviation. I have to wear heels all day and my feet are just crying.

I have tried so many different things and now I just saw an ad for Instant Arches.

Has anyone heard of or tried these. I just would love a review from one of the CozyCot crew.

    Thanks!!!XOXO

Yes, heard of these. I wanna try but they're kinda expensive. I've bought cheaper 'alternatives' from Daiso. I have yet to try them. I'm not currently experiencing any pain; bought them out of curiosity.

Do you know what's exactly causing your pain? What have you tried that you felt did nothing to alleviate the pain?

I've never heard of those. Lets see to aleviate the pain, I just tend to soak my feet, get pedicures and try to massage them out. It works for such a short period of time, and then its right back to PAIN!! I will google that daiso brand. Thanks for the suggestion.

So flat shoes = lousy fashion?

Caring about your health = lousy fashion?

    They should revalue their priorities.

Sunny, I feel your pain. There was a time when one of the bosses at my former office sent around a circular stating what kind of footwear was 'appropriate' - and all of the 'examples' pictured were killer heels, ne less than 4 inches high. I ended up with severe hip and back pain after trying to conform to the dress code and even consulted a specialist. Then my GP told me to ditch the shoes and go for something more sensible instead, and the pain went away. I had an agreement with my then-supervisor - as long as I don't get caught wearing my 'comfy' shoes, he won't do anything. But of course, if I had to attend meetings, represent the company at functions, I had to wear the stupid shoes. Is it possible to negotiate with your boss about this?

How do your feet hurt? Is it that the toe box is too cramped, or the material of the shoe doesn't breathe / bites into your feet, or the shoe fits badly, or you just cannot wear high heals?

If it is a problem with heels (not fit or material or anything else) is it possible for you to get heels that are 2 inches (50 mm or less)? I find that these create less problems for my feet. There are more brands with fashionable designs for this height nowadays - saw some of Clark's new arrivals today and they seem pretty decent. Ecco also has comfortable and decent looking shoes. Best thing about ecco is that even if the heel is higher than 2 inches, my feet stay comfy - only my back starts to ache.

I hope you find a solution to your shoe woes soon! Let us know if you do try Instant Arches - they seem as if they can help, particularly if the pain is concentrated around the arch and front of the feet (rather than heel).

Tell the bosses: a cent of prevention is worth a dollar of cure. You want to pay more for my insurance? I want to wear flat shoes to save you insurance premium.

If they don't agree. Go ahead and claim your insurance package.
