Default Men's qualms over women's shoes

Hi ladies... urgh... this is driving me nuts. Why can't men understand that we women just love shoes. It's just a girl thing right. I mean it's somehow nature. Well of cause I do know of girlfriends who buy shoes for comfort, but I do know a whole lot who buy shoes for beauty. And I bet you *point*, you *point* and you *point* who are reading this feels the same way as I do. Yes, heels do hurt but hellya they are hot! Men wears the same pants everyday while women crack their mind every darn morning for an outfit. Shouldn't we deserve them all.

Well I do have my reasons of why I'm head over heeeeeels with shoes, share with me some of your thoughts. Men are most welcome

Haha... I have an irrational love for shoes. I don't really buy clothes but I am forever looking at and buying shoes. Just this half year alone, I bought about 15 pairs of shoes (and I am probably going to buy a few more pairs). My dad is forever complaining that I am taking up all the shoe storage space and he even went as far as to tell me that I can buy new shoes (yes, he has given up on me) but can I please throw some away?

But I do have a limit - I can't bear to spend too much on a single pair of shoes, just find it very heartpain to spend so much money on something that touches the ground and I am the sort who will invariably scratch my shoes on the first day.

I agree on this point. I just love shoes and can't stop buying them. M*E*N are sometimes so ironic, on one hand they will comment that we gals didn't bother to dress up but on the other hand complain that we walk slow coz we are walking heels ( well they claim that woman that wear heels are nice ). So what can we do?

I'd rather wear slippers or be barefoot.

On ladies, if you value your health, please wear flat shoes.

He loves and understands that i adore shoes. When i buy new ones, he doesnt complain and in fact one of the first things he notices of me when we are out on dates is what shoes im wearing.

But it drives him crazy when i wear wedges. He comments that wedges are the most unsexy things on earth. A big turn off. Haaa.

I must be a rare breed. I don't really care if shoes look beautiful, they should be comfortable. I'd rather kill myself than walk out of the house in a pair of sky-high heels. Why wear shoes if they're not practical? Not to mention they pose a health risk in the long run. Most of my shoes are either flats or not more than 3 inches high (and they're chunky platforms, I don't like narrow pointy heels) and black or brown because they're easiest to match. I know of women who buy shoes like crazy and keep them on the shoe shelf for ages. That kinda pisses me off. Maybe that's why men get annoyed. What's the point of buying if you're not gonna use it? Eh, maybe it's a form of (retail) therapy for them, but I seek therapy in other forms. That's just me, I guess. So not all women are mad about shoes. Or clothes, for that matter.

yea i wear birkenstocks and rarely wear heels. heels are no good and i remember there's this lady showing me her feet and her big toe is already slanting to other toes direction with a particular bone poping up by the side. this is a problem caused by heels. doc say shouldnt wear more than 2inch if i'm not wrong.

i dont buy a lot of shoes because the heels are always hurting me. so ya, rarely buy them since i rarely wear them
