If i got personal chauffeur to send me to/fro from work, i will choose design/style over comfort. Alas, i dont have that kind of 命水. Most often, you see me running around Raffles Place during lunch hour with my flipflops or birkies.
I read so many of you here experiencing the same shoe woes as me yet i see so many ladies at Raffles Place in their heels and they dont seem to be in discomfort at all.
hi babes, i have 2 pairs of sandals from c&k and mphosis in good condition but the soles have worn off and have no more friction. i tried putting solestopppers, but they always get peeled off and doesnt even last.
is there a service at the clobber that i can add on a new sole to the sandals? and how much does it cost?
thanks!!
Adding new soles or replacing the soles is not cheap. The roadside 'ah-pek' stall charged me $12 for my loafers and they didn't last either. It will cost more if you were to go to Shukey or Mister Minit.
hey girls,
i just bought this open toe heels and they are a little loose,
what should i do?
I prefer to buy shoes from brands that are well-known for comfort and shoes made with soft leather. They tend to be more expensive, but definitely much more comfortable and last longer too!
I feel leather shoes are more comfortable because they can stretch and allow your feet to breathe. My friend taught me a trick - to check whether the shoe interior/lining is also leather. Some shoes have leather exterior but non-leather for the interior. The ones with leather interior are more comfortable. When wearing a new pair of shoes for the first time, I also rub some moisturiser around the heel the night before. It reduces the bite when you do that.
