i guess any cobbler at shopping malls will do a reasonable job? but if you're looking for affordable ones, try the roadside uncles outside OG at outram park. they're experienced, cheap and haven't disappoint me so far. gives them a source of income too.

How much does it cost to change the rubber (pointed area) for a pair of heels? I have many pair of shoes with rubber worn out, and it's a waste not wearing them again. TIA.

r u refering to the pointed heels?? outram uncle charge me $2 per heel or $2 per pair I can't remember. but the cobbler at west mall charge my colleague $11 per pair. of cos, her rubber replacement is of better quality.

It's a little OT here but cant find a more suitable thread for this post. ANybody knows where I can buy DIY accessories for repairing shoes? I want to get the rubber/plastic replacement for my heels, the plastic pointed tip part of the 'stem' of the heels? Hope u girls know what i mean.. hehe Coz I wear off my heels super fast coz I walk a lot & it cost me like 8 bucks to replace them at the roadside uncle everytime. I suspect it will be much cheaper just buying the part & replacing it myself coz its actually very easy to replace. I see the uncle just use a plier, yank out the rubber thingee from the heel & insert the new one.
