I've been considering a pair of ferragamo shoes, there is a particular pair in a very nice color in my size that I think would give me a few interesting wardrobe options...
But I'm hard on things, how well made are they? How well do they hold up to tough use?
And how comfortable are they once they are broken in?
Are there any other shoes I should be considering? I tend to keep shoes for 5-10 years minimum so If i'm going to make the investment I'd like to know that it is a good one.
I love my Varinas, but so far have not broken them in as yet because the leather is so hard.
Hehe, but pain is nothing when I look down and see the cute bows on my feet.

Addie

Anyone knows when the next sale is happening?
Hi, preview started on Thu 26/5/11. The sale is in full swingnow.
does anyone know whether the varinas/ carlas/ ribes are on sale? and if so, what's the discount like?
im thinking of buying from saksfifthavenue.com Women's & Men's Designer Apparel, Shoes, Handbags & More | Gucci, Prada, Burberry, Juicy Couture, more - Saks.com
it's cheaper than buying from the boutique during non-sale season.
the problem is ferragamo shoe sizes do not use international sizing (eg. 36/37/39) so it can be pretty tricky.
