Nixxy, I think I just suck at finding bargains then. I'm also a size 5-6 but I can never find nice shoes in my size on sale or in factory outlets. It always the larger sizes like 39, 40, 41 that are left. Most of the time I just end up paying full price.

My favourite place to shop for shoes (especially boots) is still HK. Lots of nice designs and very reasonable prices.

    Default jellies version 3

the thing with jellies is, i think they are ugly at first sight, but after a while, they start to grow on me. i remember telling creepcake that i thought this flat, broad front version was fugly. then a week ago, i began to find them bearable. now, i think they are.. quite nice i even got them in 2 colours: white & a darkish pink.

sizing for these run big. i am a size 39 for the rounded holey jellies and granny/goosebump jellies. for this version, i wear size 38.

    white & dark pink:

    dark pink when worn:

    white when worn:

better for traveling than the rounded holey ones because they have less holes

Can be bought in BKK? I'll ask my bestie to buy for me if available there.
    TIA.

pinkdewy: they are avail in BKK. saw them and they go as cheap as 100 bahts if you buy from the roadside stalls but BKK is forever out of stock of the small sizes!

queenofstars: what will you be wearing those shoes with?

you got it right, oblivion. my jellies were $9.90 from the boon lay pasar malam, next to the mrt station. aunty refused to bargain with me even though i bought 3 pairs in all (the 3rd pair for my friend) they have black, white, dark pink, lime green, yellow and gold. black, white and dark pink are selling like hot cakes. my dark pink jellies were the last pair in size 38. if you really want them, you have to place an order & leave your hp number with the stall owners and wait for the shoes to arrive in the next shipment. they will contact you when the jellies are here. no deposit required. good for big feet people, verena!

other locations courtesy of lokychoi at livejournal _spreee:
#1 $9.90 hougang central outlet (colors available: black, bronze, white)
(get off at hougang station. that whole area = central. where hougang mall is. from the mcdonalds at hougang mall, near hans that side, you exit. there is a coffee shop that sells bee hoon. keep LEFT. walk all the way down. you will pass by handphone stalls, a stall selling exam papers etc etc. just keep walking down the rows of shops. there's phoon huat and a bakery beside. if thats the place la. either way, its just an entire square. you can walk one whole round to find the shop.)

#2 $9.90 punggol plaza (colors available: black, bronze n gold)
I saw the white pair selling at Punggol Plaza for just $9.90 and they looked exactly the same. I asked the lady working there if they had other colours, she said no, but just today I saw them selling the gold, black and bronze ones and I bought the bronze ones. It's great and comfy. I wear Birks 37 and I bought size 37 for it as well. For those of you who are interested, it's selling at the shoe store at Punggol Plaza on Level 1, just opposite Watsons, next to OCBC.
