Winter boots

I just received my ugg boots from puddlebeach! They're super comfy and super cute. Nice colour too. Size is abit big though but i'll wear socks inside.

I need a pair of winter boots. I'm going to US in Dec and the temperature is around subzero or a little higher and will most probably snow. Also, any advice on what features winter boots should have? It's my first time going to somewhere in winter season.

Where I can get a nice pair of winter boots that isn't too expensive? I just blew under $500 at winter time for other winter gear, so I'd really prefer a pair that's cheaper. Besides it's not as though I like traveling during winter, so I'm probably not going to wear them often. Doesn't have to be dirt-cheap, but at least not designer label price. Thanks!

why not buy in those warehouse outlets in US? it's cheaper than in sg. those cheap ones in sg may not be durable. for durable ones, they are mostly imported, so will be expensive.

But I don't know if I'll get a chance to stop by the warehouse outlets when I arrive. Might be quite a few days before I'm free to do that

I wouldn't mind buying the cheap less-durable ones, which should at least last me for a few days, then I'll buy some good-quality ones there.

i'm lemming for uggs!!! since we don't get to use them much unless we're on holiday, can ugg owners advise if uggs will spoil if we store them for too long?

also, i'm a 36.5. i'm thinking of getting a size 6. is that ok? i'm thinking of getting burgundy... pink is also nice, otherwise classic chestnut!! Ahhh... so excited!

OT: i'm going crazy on everything that is made in australia cos the rate is so favorable

Where can I find stylish and reasonably priced long boots suitable for winter? I'm travelling to Aust in June and thought this would be a good excuse for me to own a pair of long boots! Have always seen those pretty boots worn by Jap and Korean girls made of velvety material with furry material. Where to find these?

winter wear in sg is always so expensive! i always buy winter boots or just boots (love uggs!) whenever i go overseas, its usually cheaper over there, esp when you there during their changing season period where the winter clothing are going at a low price. i suggest you wear a normal shoes, probably sports shoes/sneakers, and buy over there. Pretty sure the designs and price over there will not disappoint you

Thanks. Yeah, thought if doing that too but I'm not sure when I'll be going to their shopping areas. Plus it's just the start of their winter season, so might not have good sales around. Unless I head to their outlets.
