actually allie from experience, i've realised that my calves look nicest in wedges. i just stay away from those with ankle straps. i have more wedges than regular sandals/shoes. i LOVE them!

those lola posted are lovely but all have ankle straps - my chunky legs don't qualify.

Ok, since u mentioned it, my friend had a real bad fall from wedges, operated on her ankle & was really bad, that she can never wear sports shoes/ sneakers again. she took about 2 years to heal completely. Heard she can't put on excess weight as the injured portion is best not be strained by weight. She worries about being pregnant. plus she elbowed her fall, had a dislocated arm.... sad case, plus hers were not the really tall type.

Anyway, just wear & walk with caution is the best.

Wedges can cause such a serious fall?!?!

I think I used 2 wear them (eons ago!) but i thought they were better than heels ~ heels make my legs ACHE.

wedges is sooo in now......but for those with laces....make sure you didnt tie too tight......if not thats how some will fall.....

dont opt for too high and too thin wedges too.....unless you can walk well in skinny heels.....if not it is dangerous too.....

for those who wanted cheaper range try charles and keith....but without the laces or leather....price is pretty reasonable....color is very spring and summer too.....wish i can buy but i cant cos i cant wear in ldn...

i have one from URS and still wearing till now......i like how it makes you feel feminine by just wearing it.....making me taller too....heheheh

for my case i will buy those wedges not too thin or too high.....you need to not feel awakard while walking.....unless you dont mind walking like a duck.

her pair was thick on top & slender on the sole type, thus the serious fall. :eh:

Oh dear, wedges can cause such a serious fall? I just got a pair from BCBG last week. Haven't wore it out yet tho. I'm pretty used to high and thin heels but have never worn wedges in my life before! I hope I don't walk like a duck or even worse fall in them.

The heels now are generally so irresistable because of all the summer and spring colours! I like the ones from tommy girl and BCBG posted by lola. Hand itching
