dozalot, why dun u post your typical meal so that we could help u figure out what is the thing to fix?
hmm....I am not comfortable about 'fixing' my diet.
I admit that I am definitely not someone with a girly appetite or who picks at my food. I enjoy my meals and I eat a reasonable portion each time and I dont think about calories.
However, I know I am not over-eating, I dont eat more than people around me and I dont feel stuffed after meals. I dont snack on chips and I never eat supper. These days I drink sugar-free soda because I am watching my sugar intake. I didnt do anything differently pre-preg. In fact, I drink more sugared soda then.
Maybe my body's metabolism has slowed down post-preg. That would be bad news.
I think the BF really helps in my weight loss....
Pre-pregnancy, I weigh abt 52kg, before I give birth weighed abt 66kg......Just went to weigh at my gynae's clinic, I am down to 55kg already....considering I went thru C-section only on 11 Jan and has not done the massage as yet.
Mum has been stuffing me with lots of fish to ensure I would have enough supply of milk for the little brat.
I was same weight as you pre-preg and before birth was 2kg more than you at 68kg. After 6weeks I am at 62kg. During confinement, I had no appetite at all and ate so little and yet I didnt lose any. So after reading your post, I am convinced that it's all different. Some people like me just cant lose it. sigh.
dun lose heart dozalotim sure u will lose yr preg weight
i remember b4 my 2nd preg, i was 66kg & now my boy is 13 mths old & i weight 57.9kg. hai~ still gt 7 kg to go& my hubby doesnt help at all!!! keep buying chocolates 4 me
we shall diet together
jia you
Dozalot
Pls dont give up....Perhaps it just take a bit longer for you to lose, not forgetting you got a big baby....My little brat is only 2.86kg.....
Dozalot, actually for my case, I really did find that my metabolism rate dropped significantly after I had my DD (who is now 3.5yo). Not sure if its a postnatal thing or simply because of age catching up, but I felt that ever since my pregnancy, I couldnt eat the way I used to, and that I put on weight alot easier and faster, and find it a little harder to lose them too.
Hi! My cousin gave birth last October and hasn't had any success in slimming down up till now. She has tried dieting and exercising, but the stubborn pregnancy fats won't go away. She's considering seeking help from a slimming salon and has asked me for my opinion. I haven't been to one before, so I thought of posting here to ask for advice from all of you insteadI've seen many Marie France ads and read many positive reviews about it's services, so I'm wondering if I should recommend Marie France to her. Any advice?
Heys sparkledoodle,
I gave birth to my second child in October too! Was 76 kg after my baby was 1 month, I went into depression cause I've never been that heavy before.. I went to slimming centre that used to be located at bugis after my first pregnancy..But the diet they gave me was CRAZY and they keep up selling me..Ended up not losing any weight. My good friend recommended me to join this Weight Loss Challenge and they even have a support group for those who wanna lose weight, so I joined. I lost 6 kg in 2 months..!! =D
