I went to Orchard Plaza ( BLUSHWAX ) for my waxing session , during JUNE this year after my wax session I saw the shop ( NAILSBAR ) I did wax pretty frequent yet this is the first time I saw this shop ended up is because the shop opens at 1130am and usually i booked 11am for my wax session. My intention of heading in is to do express mani + nail art. I waited as there was a customer doing manicure. Ended up i decided to do a class mani w/o nail art since it's more worth it. the lady who attend to me was friendly and her skill was not bad as I see the way she did my nails. Payment time , she was selling the package I thought the deal was pretty got so I bought the $260 one for 5session of classic mani + pedi + treatment for both hands and leg .
I didn't went back again until recently few days back , my schedule was tight for second half of the day , i called in and ask what time would be available . the outlet supervisor says 3PM and i asked how long to be done she said mani + pedi will be done in 45mins since there're two people doing it for you and i said okay. I went there , the shop only had two staff initially , after that a pregnant staff came in not long after , I was the only customer at that time and the session started peacefully , however like only 5mins later the two of them started hard selling , initially asked if i would like to top-up $5 for a salt bath for the leg i said no thanks , then they keep going on i still said no thanks , then they started to say my leg and fingers had fungus and that would i like to do the treatment which is $10 for leg and $10 for hands i declined again and they two both go attacking me like saying if you don't do now your hands will have whole next time ah.. say what they do this line they know one.. it's like i know my leg condition i from young see my leg is like that , so many years also nothing they want say my nails will have whole my whole finger nail will drop out? lame shit. then after being rejected they come and hard sell the treatment , what collagen treatment now 50% off , after discount hand is $17++ , leg $20++ . I got so irritated already I just want to finish my session end up i say ok i will just get the collagen treatment for hands at $17++ , then she say okay then your leg do fungus okay and went off to take the thing , is like FORCING PEOPLE. Then she took a scrub to rub my hands and put my hands in a glove .. it's like i don't know which is the so called collagen treatment and which is the one included in my package.. then one customer came in and asked if she can do express they say okay and they both went and do express nails and leg for the customer beside .

then a guy came into the store and talked to the pregnant staff , then another lady came in with laptop , if I'm not wrong the person should be some magazine editor coming to interview them as i overheared their conversation like asking question and more question i feel like telling the "editor" their services sucks to the max!!! so the two staff who were supposed to finish my mani and pedi in 45mins left me alone and went to attend to the EXPRESS customer and later another customer who booked appointment came in and they went to attend her instead of me , and end up i got so pissed off and my time is running out i told them can you please remove the glove now , then the lady say what " actually this collagen thing put longer will be better " i think its bull shit cause they want to attend to another customer.

then she had no choice as i insisted, then now left painting nails and i can go.. the pregnant lady came to paint my nails while the previous one paint my hands , the "editor " already left i wished so much she will stay until i finish my session i surely go tell her how bad their service is .. and the pregnant lady go like girl your leg very fair *** , and the one doing my hands say oh she just did treatment ma , it's like please la from young till now I'm always fair among my friends .. what your treatment do **** immediately white *** , plus the lady doing my hand her painting skill sucks to the max!!! i rather paint myself!!!!

so in conclusion i'm very unhappy cause..

they hardsell , it's like no give you choice despite my many times declining they're like a black shop forcing you to do. like i said before i don't want the fungus one.. then she ask me do the very expensive one i say ok then i will just do the hand then that shit outlet supervisor say what then okay your leg do fungus.. what is i pay money not you!!!
and second thing is they said can be done by 45mins end up i only able to left the shop at 4.45 plus i need to rush them .. meaning 1hours 45mins there.. end up making me need to cancel one appointment as i can't make it there.

oh one last thing the outlet supervisor ask if i would like to top-up $2 for top coat i say ok just the hand then she say girl buy the top coat la then don't need add $2 , $2 next time . then i told her my house have one ( true ) at first she say next time bring along and put here la ( it's like if i really put here even if you use it on other customer i also won't know ) then she say or nevermind la you buy one here la $17++ .. i keep decline and she still want to show me .. tsktsk

so I spend $260 to buy the package..
first time did mani X 1
second time did mani + pedi
left 3 X mani + 4 X pedi but I'm not going to go back there because it's a BLACK SHOP . i rather
waste the money left then to be FORCED to pay for what ADDITIONAL TREATMENT. I bet those ladies staff at the shop needs those treatment MORE THAN I DO . PLEASE I'M NOT EVEN 20 years old!

I'm going to send this whole message to their enquiry email and see what the management response! can't post on their facebook since they don't have facebook page... sorry for the long and messy message very angry already..

they have two more outlet i think.. one at far east plaza one at tanjong..
