that's a very pretty color! the glitters are cool. but the matte top coat is even more amazing and attractive, i want!

I find that Essie's nail polishes fade super easily. I apply two to three coats and wait for everything to dry, then after applying a top coat, the colour vanishes and parts of my nail are exposed. How can I solve this problem?

lilacs.rip: You could try Ebay, but as Starry Starry Night is becoming quite a cult fav, the prices would be skyhigh! I have been hunting for one that has a reasonable price tag to it for quite a while There is a Sephora nail colour that is quite a close match to it if I'm not wrong. Not as pretty tho.

Koakuma: Maybe its your base coat or top coat? My Essie nail polishes have never had that problem before? That's very strange. If the exposed parts of the nail are at your nail tips, then it could be your top coat shrinking the polish. You can avoid this by wrapping your tips with polish too HTH!

Ah, I think it's the top coat! I was using the top coat which I bought from a random convenience store in Japan. Maybe the quality of the top coat is not good enough. Thanks for the advice, lolapix!

lolapix: Ah I know! I really love it but I won't pay a crazy price for it. I've heard about the dupe, I believe it's Sephora's Blue Sapphire. But as you said it's not as pretty Essie should just release the colour again, I bet all of them will be snapped up
