I prefer nail tek's Quicken. I went to do mani at this salon who gives free quick dry top coat. I saw that they used Poshe. Then I found that my polish chipped faster than if I were to use my nail tek quicken. Maybe the nail technician not as good? Not sure, but I think quicken will be my fave so far.

However, hardest and most long lasting top coat will be sally hansen's acrylic top coat. It's super hard, makes my polish last forever. But downside is that it gets sticky so quickly, no matter how much I try to dilute it with polish thinner or polish remover. And I get a lot of fine cracks on my polish after a few days. The polish cracks, but it wont chip off.

I've tried Poshe, Seche Vite, China Glaze Fast Forward...

Poshe is good but it's super thick even from the beginning. So, it always get stringy and much too thick very fast... when I'm not even halfway through the bottle, usually.

I only got started on my Seche Vite so I don't know if it will have the same problem, but I'm loving it so far. Within 15 seconds, the top layer of my polish is already dry and in less than an hour it's completely dry, even though I usually have at least 5 layers because of nail art. The consistency is very thin, so it applies really smoothly and easily.

I also really like the China Glaze Fast Forward, but it's a little slower than the Seche Vite. It gives me a *slightly* thicker application and it is shinier than the Seche Vite. However, for me, it gets stringy and thick when the bottle is about 1/4 full.

The stringy/thickening problem can be solved with Seche Restore, but it's just troublesome... so for now, I will stick to either China Glaze or Seche Vite.

Hi, try ordering from sites like Tim Tam? The prices are about 1/2 off salon retail prices. I wouldn't recommend Nail Vibe because I ordered one polish from them more than two weeks ago and it still has not arrived even though the girl says she sent it out and tells me I will get it. The service is really awful as well... but I think I'll save that for another thread. Grr.

I have reviewed nailvibe before about the owner's rude & arrogant service. DO NOT purchase any items from them!

I use Seche Vite but it thickens over time. My sister calls it magic coat.

I have been using Seche Vite for almost a year now and really liked it. The only issue I have with it is when I use my Zoya nail polish. The formulas somehow do not match, because Seche Vite seems to shrink the polish making the mani look really old and nasty. since my Zoya collection is growing, I bought Diamont Seal & Shine Top Coat by Nubar, since I've heard great things about it.

It is a really good top coat and dries even faster than Seche Vite. So far i've only tested it over my Zoyas and it did not shrink the polish at all. The only thing is, that you need to work really fast with it.

My top coat of choice is either Ezflow Never Yellow Sealer or Ezflow Fast Finish Top Coat. They both dry quickly too. As for base coat, I haven't used one in years. I know SpaRitual has one that's supposed to be good, but I've never used it.
