Glue for the glue on nails usually come together with the nails. I have tried both and I feel that glue on nails are better as they hold and last longer. Stick on nails are not as longlasting and comes off easily.

For glue ons, you have to go to a nail shop to soak your nails in acetone for the glue to be removed fully. That will be rather damaging for your nails. Stick ons will come off when the adhesive power decreases.

jackda2003 Not sure if you can buy the glue outside or not.. And yes, you either have to wait for the nails to fall off themselves or go to a nail parlour to remove it.

How to diy with the acetone? Im not too sure where you can buy something like that, you need a high concentration to fully melt the glue.

Glue on nails last way longer than stick ons, in my opinion. Stick ons lose their adhesiveness almost immediately if in contact with water for a long period of time. You don't really have to use acetone to remove the glue ons. There is such a thing called nail glue remover (Daiso has it). Just squeeze a little on your nails, wait for fifteen seconds or so, then wiggle the artificial nail to loosen it from your own nail.

Nail glue is sold all over the place, too. Daiso sells it as well. My favourite is Kroxx - the adhesive power is quite impressive.

Hi I have found a web site that gives you glue and double sided stickers so you can do both. I have used the stickers and they work good. The glue is also good but when I use the glue the nails can not be used again. With the stickers you can use the nails again. I am only new to this foum so I do not know if i can put the address on here but I will http://www.endlessnails.com seeya.

Because I use my fingers so much, I have to make do with semi-beautified natural nails that I semi-beautify myself.

I never had good luck with stick-on nails, even for temporary costume occasions, they just come off too easily. You should at least be able to pop open a can. And I know there are all kinds of superduper adhesives that I could use that might make them stay on. But then they would outstay their welcome, and refuse to go home when the party was over.

i prefer using stickers than glue. i can put them on and remove any time as and when i like. i can just put it on esp when i need to dress specially for some special occasions, and then remove it so that i don't have wear them to work (my nail designs are quite loud, heh)
