Recommendations for Nail Salons in Northeast area.

Hello babes!!

Any recommendations for nail salons for Northeast areas? Like Serangoon, Hougang, Punggol etc? Be it home based, in shopping malls or neighbourhood areas?

I have only been to nail palace at hougang mall and i dont really like it, i think under the nail palace thread can see a lot of rants about that place. Express manicure took almost an hour or longer, painting of nails so-so... don't really like the outcome after that. Lucky i only did express manicure... never waste too much money.

Visited a home salon at Punggol area near Riviera LRT station through my friend's recommendation to do classic manicure and pedicure for only $36! Very good services and friendly manicurist! She's very attentive and patient..cos i end up decided to do nail art and took very long choosing what nail art i want, while she just try to do other things first as i choose.. like massage and all that. She has got everything required at her home salon also...apart from her nicely decorated room with all the available OPI nail colours as well. I suppose it's a newly set up home based salon with many more services..like waxing etc. Overall very good experience. I asked her about gel nail extensions and she said the rate is approximately $80! So much cheaper than other home based salons webbies i saw with gel extensions that cost like $150++!

Wanna visit more places to try out to find my best experience! Do recommend if you have any in mind!

Is Ang Mo Kio considered as North-east area?

I went for pedicure at Ang Mo Kio Blk 416 last friday. This is my third time going for pedicure. They are having a promotion now. Classic pedicure plus manicure going at $35 (usual price - $50). Should be newly opened. The place is call Spotty Nails or Nails Spotty, i forgot already.

i just got my nails done at the home based salon at punggol tt i intro earlier on "HOME NAILS" and it's really very very pretty in real! i love it really a lot! very nicely done and bling! totally love it!

total is $115 only..super worth it right! her place is very nice and comfy.. gd service too! the manicurist very friendly too.

I've tried this salon at kovan area. It's call "Swee's Beauty House" near the super bowl area. And I'm very happy with the result for both my mani&pedicure. Best thing is there's a promotion going on where student get 50% off for mani&pedicure thus i've only paid like less then 50 for my mani and pedi done. And for my hand i still has add on like pearls and stuff!! And all i paid was less then 50 I'm so happy lol. The service there is really good too I'm going to go back again!! Hopefully this help =)

If anyone is interested, I have a nail package of 3 classic mani and 3 classic pedi with Rebecca (one of manicurists) that I'm trying to sell at $102. It comes with 2 free french manicures.

The package will expire in Jan '10 but I've been really busy lately, especially in the evenings and weekends, which is when they operate. So if you know anyone who might be interested PM me.

Rebecca is really good, her service is attentive and personal. Prefer it to salons.
