Default Mould to make arcylic nail art

I went to Bugis and saw a plastic mould for nail art. It has to be used with arcylic powder. Seems like the perfect solution to a person, who cannot draw with a left hand.

    Anyone tried such moulds?
    And arcylic powder is what?
Can I just use clay, paint in poster colour (clever and cheap idea?!).

Or I am better off with those long tip pen like nail polishes.
If so where to get good and cheap ones (the only place I know of , sells one for $12, brush and metal tip).

The mould is for 3D art not for drawing so it doesn't really matter if u can't draw I've seen the mould and it's not cheap.

Acrylic powder have to b mix with "Monomer liquid" to get the end result. Recommended for professional use only.

I think clay will dissolve in water so is poster color. But not sure after brushing on the top coat will it work.

If u are a DIY person i think the pen tips is much easy to manage.

I did these for my graduation project. Supposingly if there's such a mould it will propably save me lots of time....... haha

I saw the moulds today too, can't remember where is it exactly but it's at the second level of bugis village! Ultra cool, thinking of getting the flower and heart one only thing is that a mould costs 22 bucks!

Am very bad of streets and locations. I walk across Seiyu, the Bugis "pasar malam- thai" place. Walk just half way, walk left, got escalator where the shops are. I went in a round-about (the place has a cafe in the middle) and you will eventually find the shop. The shop is 2 shop size, very big and ALL NAIL PRODUCTS. The mould is against the wall. Be warned, the mould ex, the "stuffings" ex, the liquid ex. But very nice and assistant says will teach if you buy

I bought the mould today from Bugis Street. I bought a ribbon one. You have to use acrylic powder and acrylic liquid. It was my first time trying so my ribbons did not turn out to be perfect, but it is not that hard to do.

steflovesnate, I spent about $50 in total. You use nail glue to stick the acrylics onto your nails.

I've bought a flowers mould from Woodlands also. And the result turns out to be very bad due to my poor skill. Cannot really see the lines of the flower, it just look like a lump of white clay

I doubt the sales girl will show, unless u buy. The Bugis one, i went on Fri, and many people. So may not have time to show.

Maybe if really want to buy, should consult sales girl, which one the design more distinct.

Can I ask , use of the arcylic powder => Clay like / Rubber like end product
