Anyone been to Carnation Nails Room @ Tanjong Pagar Plaza? That's the worst nail salon I have been to. There a China lady do Gel Nail for me less than 2 days my nails crack and drop. And she is very pushy. she only good in nail art, other than that no no no..dont go or u will regret. Less colour. I will not go there anymore.

I patronizes the Woodland's branch because its near my house and its convenient. They really hard sell their nail packages and try every way to sell you nail art so they can charge extras. I had my gel manicure done by a Vietnamese girl, which was acceptable, however, the my gel pedicure by the china lady was done very badly. The Vietnamese girl was pretty convincing in getting me to sign up a package which I told her I would only want her to do my nails for future visits. She agreed. Yesterday, I went for another session with them which I had super bad experience. The Vietnamese girl told be due to CNY, I can't use my usual package for gel pedicure, which I agree due to peak season. I asked her the price and she told me to pay $58 additional and I agreed. She did my gel manicure, but gel pedicure was done by the China lady. Again, I had bad workmanship for my toes! After I paid and left, 10 minutes after, I had a call from the Vietnamese girl and she told me that she forgotten to charge me $35 extra for removing dead skins for pedicure!!! I was shocked as I thought $58 was already included as when I asked her the price to pay, she told me $58! I was pissed off and told her that it is ridiculous to charge me $35 extra for pedicure on top of $58. I am their existing customer with a package signed! Moreover, I was not informed of the extra charges at all. After that, a china lady came to the phone and try to convince me to pay and she said.: you dont want to pay? you mean want my girls to pay for you right? She said when her girl get me to soak my feet, I should already know that I would be charged. Totally bad service when her staff made the mistake! Honestly, its not about the money, its all about principle! They should have informed all charges to their customers first, and not doing it and then later charge exorbitant fees! DONT patronize Carnaton Nail Room..Bad service, Bad workmanship!
