i checked the back n its true *** you said about the 2 stickers. of the 4 opi i bought,only 1 has 1 stickers. the other 3 with stickers have something like barcode on the stickers. does it mean the one with 1 sticker is fake?
U have to feel the texture of the black handle. All i know the original one is quite rough. Jus b careful if the price is too good to b true. I think not many ppl know about this. I learn about this while i was setting up my home-based biz and sourcin for what brand of polishes i should use.
It was brought to my attention by one of our customer that there is a thread about Devil's Heaven. After reading, I think it is appropriate for me to clarify issues here. I am not here to pick up a fight but i think it is fair for me to state our side of story.
We are really sorry that this has taken place. We have investigated. We clearly instructed our salon staff not to reservation as our salon is operating differently from Devil's Heaven. She did not follow instructions and did not inform Devil's heaven staff about this reservation. We totally agree that it is a very rude of my staff to slammed down the phone. We always strive to provide good customer service and communication. We have taken appropriate action. She is no longer working for us.
You will notice that stickers with numbers on top of the polishes are OPI code. We have at least 500 bottles of OPI polishes at any time and it is for our easy reference instead of looking at the bottle label below. It is to ensure that we process and pack your order fast and deliver to u in shortest time.
I have traced the order with info provided. I traced to 2 orders and If i am not wrong, it is should be order #697. The story was not complete. I am totally puzzled with the claim that polishes was 85-90% left. All our polishes are brand new. We did rec'd a complaint for the fray brush for Second honeymoon, it is a manufacturing defect but we did not rec'd complain for other polishes ordered. This is a known secret. Devil's Heaven also import OPI from H2T, 8Ty8, transdesign and few other OPI authorised distributor (sorry i cant reveal them) in USA. Gal who do spree or buy direct from USA knows that $11 is achievable. In addition, Devils Heaven buy in big bulk, at least 500 bottles at a go. We will get a even better price for bulk purchase and shipping cost is shared over 500 bottles. Unless these authorised OPI distributors are selling fake OPI, then all sprees or buying from USA directly are buying fake OPI.
I can confirm that OPI does have 2 labels. But with our experience of handling more than 12K bottles for the past 1 year, there is also possiblility that label dropping off. We do have about 50 bottles we placed under "Do not sell" status as they do not have any labels at all. All these stock are from OPI authorised distributors. they wanted me to send back for replacement but it is too costly for me to send back for replacment.
My gals who is working for me are very disappointed with these claims and urge me to just concentrate on salon business instead of wasting time on Devil's heaven as margin is very very low. I am understand their frustration. they have been working very hard keeping up with inventories, processing orders etc. I cant agree with them. I will be letting alot of our supportive customers down if I shut down Devils Heaven becos of these claims. Devils heaven will continue to provide value for money OPI and we will be launching another brand soon. I will take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their support.
I am not here to start a bickering thread. Just think it is fair for me to share my view.

Actually this forum is more for ladies like us who are looking for cheaper options and not for businesses to come and clear up misunderstandings in the forum. I just think that you could have done it thru email or you can call the customer personally and apologise.
And we are allowed to say what we feel from our own experiences and share them and ladies who are interested who then decide to go with your service or not.. if not this wouldn't be called a forum. Hope you understand.
I agree with michiemich that we share our exp in this forum, be it good or bad. And as for the order, I would like to clarify on this. I received the polishes but did not email to devils heaven on the defective items. I just forget it and use those which are usable. Hope this clears up. Thank you.
I've googled fake opi. Some say that if your opi has 3 warning signs at the back, it is fake. but i do have some that has 4 and some that has 3. all from the same place. Everything else is correct.. Handle smoothness, double labels and printing..
Should i be freaking out?
