i jus went for my brazilian waxing with 20% disc using the cleo mag. planning to for others using those coupon.. hehe

i been there several times too. they are q gd :-) heard they cny surcharge is one of the most reasonable in FEP!

check out other shops there, and shocked to find some can be 50% surcharge! so i booked my CNY mani/pedi w them already

I just came back from Nail Story at Far East.
Me n my friend were super disappointed with both their service n skills.

My pedi was did by Eileen n my mani was did by Moon.
My friend mani was did by Jenny.

They actually did our classic mani n pedi at super fast speed... cos every steps also cut short ma
worse still, Eileen n Jenny apply too much top coat on our fingers *** form bubbles at the surface.
i also purchase the nail stickers from them n Eileen help me to put on... n it was my biggest mistake!! cos my fingers look like clown now! Moon had did a gd job at the painting but eileen screw it up with the stickers.

my left toe looks longer than my right toe! a very obvious unbalanced...i ask Eileen to shorten it, she like not willing n say that it was my toe structure not the nails... den i ask Moon about it, she say i think too much... need her to take a ruler n help me measure a not.. (laughing away). My friend also notice the unbalance n mayb they are busy as now is festive season, they crap out excuse to brush me off i guess.
i will nv nv go back to this shop again!

My mani n pedi was a treat from my friend, i felt so heartache for her money spend on such unprofessional service!

princess_yuna : i think the worst that can happen is the staff dont listen to what we want! if we say the nail is unbalance.. then just fix it! i simply buay tahan this type of service one l.ah! if skills bad then cant say anything.. at the most can only LL... dont go back.. but the service also like.... *ahem*

ya lo... now my nails stickers started to peel off a little already... n this is only the second day n i don even do household chores one. worse still, even my toe nail got bubbles..... wa lao!!!!! i almost fainted! by mon or tue i think the nails sticker will chipped off even more! argh!

I went for a quick mani session today with nailz story and eileen did my nails.
I think she's a newbie (despite her saying she has a year experience) because the technique she used when picking up polish to apply on my nail.

first coat was far too thick and she brushed approx 5-6 per nail. and yes, i too had noticable bubbles on few of my fingers.

I came home and check my nails only to realise when she was clipping the dead skin away, she clipped onto some of the meat beside the nail bed, causing it to be 'tender' and rather red now

I believe Joanne and Moon knows how to do a proper mani.

I think i'll just stick to my usual salon from now onwards... even if they are closed or full!

I arranged for appointment with Nailzstory at FEP because their CNY promo was so good I couldn't resist. $78 for acryllic and $98 for Gel extensions. On top of that still got free rhinestones.

I chose acryllic since I've never done Gel before and I didnt wanna do something that I didnt know how it will turn out. Anyway, the girl that did my nails was Melissa, malay girl. She was very rough with me when it came to doing my cuticles and I was looking around wondering how such a professional website they have does not reflect on the surroundings or staff.

Anyway, 2 days after doing my extensions, 3 of the nails started peeling off from the bottom and the paint started peeling off, so my bf insist I go back to get it fixed. Mel decided not to charge me for doing the infill again but when she remove the nail polish, I could see all the air spaces under the acryllic nails!!!! She didnt highlight it to me and I just wasnt in the mood to sit down and wait for her to do everyting when I just paid over $80 a few days before. I decided to wait it out. Since I had to pay for repainting.

A few days go by and its Chinese New year and the nails drop off! Lucky I went to by nail glue from FEP so I fixed it myself.
Now, I can confidently say that the acryllic nails are secured by my nail glue and not Melissa's shoddy workmanship. I will never go back there again. Well, not unless I hear raving reviews soon!

to hear all this comments. i been there several times and been served by most of them. mainly do manicure,pedicure and waxing... not yet try extension all those stuffs yet..

and services frm them has been quite well for me tht y i been going bk..

i was there on 24th for my nails and brazilian. it v crowded. but i can see they are trying their best for all customers...

maybe you can go back and feedback about it? i knew they do free re-paint within few days etc with the receipt.

I think moon is still ok.... but that Eileen really really cmi....
she cant do proper pedi i think...she nv even bother to compare to see if both side of my toe nails are cut equally..... mostly the will compare n do some touch up le... n i don like her smile.. so fake!!!!
till now i still angry with her! CMI!

CNY second day my nails really started to peel off already lo.. same thing i encounter as you.. bubbles.... so sad!

Dun tell me it is ok for a professional manicurist to cut unbalanced nails.and it is also fine to have obvious bubbles on the nail polish painted.we also dun wanna find fault with nailz story.but sadly,it is the reality that we didnt get the professional service for what we paid for.

bennjerry: I did feedback on the spot to two of the staff regarding the unbalanced nails and they just shoo me off *****. They never even bother to touch up after i pointed out the uneven nailcut. And those bubbles is due to too much application of top coat. This is the fact. So, is that wad you call professional service? Actually if you were to ask ard, there are many shops that does full mani and pedi... some even did nail arts (i saw it at bugis on CNY eve, when i walk past, most of the cust had their nail arts done). i feel very short change as they rush thru the whole process. On top of that, every manicure shop will let you try on their color before they paint for you. It is very normal.

I pay them good money, they should give me good service. CNY is not an excuse for such unprofessional service. Maybe they give you good service during normal time but this experience really left me a bad taste in the mouth!
