I had a terrible experience at the Jas Indulge Nail Spa & Cafe at West Coast Plaza.

The staff there are polite if:

    (1) you're a new customer
    (2) you're a caucasian

    If you:

    (1) have signed a package with them
    (2) are not a caucasian

you can forget about good service from them.

Manicure Pedicure is a service industry, service is all that counts in such a business. However, that's not what I've received. When they first started out, they provided excellent service. Today, I cannot say the same.

    The staff there are:

    (1) impatient

    (2) unwilling to help (e.g. I arrived in the shop for my usual appointment and asked for help to wipe off my existing nail polish so that I can try on other colours and decide which colour I'd prefer. NONE of them were willing to help except one. They claimed they were busy, so I requested for a cotton bud and some nail polish remover so I could do it on my own, but the answer's still 'No'. Mind you, it was a simple 'No' and they walked away - they did not say it in a polite minor.)

(3)unfriendly - after I've signed my package with them, the pull a long and grouchy face whenever they serve me. They used to smile even if we were to have any sort of eye contact, but not anymore. They don't even want any form of eye contact with you now. I do not think I've offended the staff in any way as I am generally a quiet person, so I barely speak to them when I'm there. Hence, I do not know what caused their service attitude to change.

    (4) Vanessa - This staff in particular, is extremely chirpy to foreigners and the most unfriendly staff of all towards me. She has made my appointments in the Nail Spa very unpleasant with sarcasm and rudeness. Visits to nail spas should be relaxing, but with her around, you can forget about feeling de-stressed. She rejects almost all of my requests (i.e. for particular nail colours) without suggesting alternatives. And does so in a rude way.

    (5) One of the staff caused me to bleed when she was cutting my cuticles…

    (6) And my nail polish got onto my flesh close to my cuticles, so it popped out in less than a week. I’ve told her not to get the polish on my flesh, to which she insists it did not, but that is not the case. My manicure didn’t last more than a week.

I have 1 last package with 2 appointments left with them, so I have no choice but to return to them. After the appointments are done with, I will NEVER return to this nail spa.

I noticed there aren't much reviews about Jas-Indulgence Nail Spa & Cafe (West Coast Plaza) online, so I've decided to share my experience - preventing other unknowing customers from wasting their money at this mani pedi cafe.

hihi, you are not the first i heard about. I was deciding between going to them or another shop i think was Pretticure, which is around the corner, and i heard people saying that they are not good after signing a package etc.

How much does a pedicure normally cost - the one that will clean your cuticles, and apply normal nail polish.

I currently pay S$20 and I think it is very reasonable as my cuticles are all clean (they clean well - compared to the other nail spas I have been to) and I also like the way they apply nail polish, quick dry, etc. Can last me a month, before I need to retouch my nail polish.

    Zicon Pink parlour!

They aint the best nail parlour in singapore. But however, they are reasonable pricing and very nice comfortable environment!

In my whole life, I have never ever signed any package with anyone any place before. The first pink parlour that I'd patronized was the outlet at NEX. Went thrice and decided to sign the package with them cause I think its very reasonable and good.

10 princess pedicure and 10 speedy manicure for only $300plus. Worth it right?

Initially I hesitated but the manicurist explained to me in a very "bo-chap" manner that I should consider getting it as I've patronized with 3 times already which each time spent approximately $50 plus for princess mani and princess pedi. And she said, their speedy mani includes of removal of cuticles almost everything like princess mani except that there's no scrub and some spa thingy. She also asked me whats the point of doing scrub etc, do I really see a difference when I only does it like once every 2 months... hahaha..

Well, the fact that I love bout this package is that it wont expired, they have many outlets though all in town area and most importantly, not many nail parlours will include removal of cuticles in speedy manicure.

However, most of their outlet manicurists arent that fantastic But still okay la...
But the one in NEX is gooooooooooooood!
(cant remember her name but i think she's the only malaysian over there)

    Adding on..
I'm those kinda person that cant sit still for more than 30 mins doing nothing and stare blank. The reason that I said they have nice great environment cause they will play dvd like sex and the city etc for you while you're doing the stuffs! N you can get to choose....

Default my favorite would be Pretty360

I just came back from mani/ pedi session @ pretty360 at Singapore shopping centre and I was very pleased with their good customer service. What pleases me most was they really took care of your nails and they do it slow and steady. They make sure that I was comfortable as well.

I have arranged for another appointment with them because I really love their service. After all, we are paying for services they renderd. Overall very happy and satisfied. Recommended to go there.

    Default Fave Nail Salons

Hello girls, just wanna share with you a few of my fave nail salons:

Nails Box (@ SouthBank, Lavender MRT)
Did this Blue Glitter Gradation @ Nails Box awhile back. Loved it so much! They use AngelPro Organic Gel Overlay. Owner, Ivy is meticulous and provides one of the best service
    Attachment 10426

Little Dot's Haven (@ The Bencoolen, Oppo OG, Bugis MRT)
Cosy and you'll feel just right at home. Owner introduced me to Harmony's new range of Gelish, Magneto recently. So satisfied with the results. All my friends gave me the thumbs up upon seeing it :D. Anyway, they are having a special offer for magneto here, which I would highly recommend!

Pretty360 (@ Singapore Shopping Centre, Dhoby Ghaut MRT)
Always head there for their classic manicure and a spa pedicure. Environment is soothing, their girls are skilled and professional. Owner, Angela is friendly and always makes me feel comfortable every visit.

Anyone has any recommendation of salons in Serangoon, Novena and Bishan area?
