Who you looked for at Snails? Yes the prices are kinda steeped....one package can only last me around 3 mani/pedis.... Need to look for a cheaper one soon....

I don't know the name of the chinese girl who did it for me months ago. I just went in and someone just did it for me.. It was a chinese girl. But I think she was quite good. Friendly too !

anyway, my friend got herself a package for the cny season cause she was satisfied with the service and the sales told her that it she wants to do her nails during the peak cny period, a package would be better.

and on her appointment day itself, she was late due to an unpredicted jam (she was stuck on the bus for more than an hour!). the person just did sloppy express manicure and pedicure for her and charged her the full manicure and pedicure rate (cause the package was for full manicure and pedicure for 4/6 times i think).

i know they're busy during the cny period, but how could they charge full mani and pedi rate when they just did express for her and she was out of there in half an hour.

nope, she was a bit dazed after that and complained to me!

i asked her why she didn't complain, she just said, oh yah! *faints* i think she was so pissed with the service and the resulting manicure and pedicure (which the person painted something she didn't like) that she forgot about it.

I feel that sometimes when you or anyone find it not justice , you might need to speak up because after that the one who lose out will definitely be YOU!! Like one time i did my french manicure it was so awful that i keep complaining and the mancurist had to redo six of my fingers. I mean how can i pay so much and the manicure was done so unprofessionally.

xanthe: i agree with that! i think my friend was a bit not herself that day, cause she's the type who'll keep complaining about something if it's not justified.

if i'm paying lots for the service, i'll expect the person to give me the type of service and results that matches up!

Christine at Exotic Nails, FEP does wonders! she's very patient and skilful.
another Christine who's at VOXY is another french pedi fairy... she was initially at Wisma's Branch but has since been transferred to Bugis.

both Christines are very good and patient!

cotters who have had experience with OPI nail polishes, after how long do you remove the nail polish? afterwhich, do you find that it stains your nails, leaving it slightly yellowish?

i normally remove the polish around 1+ week after application. the polish would've been in a bad state by then (can't be shown to people ).

now that you've mentioned it, i do find them a bit yellowish. or is it the lighting? :eh:

my gfs complain of the yellow stain too... guess it's the nail polish.
maybe it's due to the lack of UV something...

VOXY's which contain UV do not leave the yellow stain...

Gugo over at JB City square. Both girls although i can't remember their names. Their application is so so nice and smooth. I have yet to see anyone over in singapore with that type of skills before for nail polish application. I must say they are really efficient.
