I signed up a package at Nail Palace at Amara Hotel consisting of 12 sets of full manicure and pedicure for $39.90 each. Each mani/pedi comes with either a french or 2 nail art. I think its quite worht it for this price.

Have not really had bad experience with them yet about the bad selling part. But I never take note of who did the pedi/mani for me so dunno who is good.

    Anyone to recommend?

This is Nail Palace's way to get customers by attractting them with cheap packages. End up, u pay $10 for pedi frizz soak (outside charge $2), top coat they also charge. What a "frightening" experience.

From so many nails salloon that i have been to, i think this is one of the most blacklisted nail place, they are very very pushy & when you keep saying NO, they give you a blackie face, their charges are hidden also, when you go in ,they said padicure is this price, but you have to top up $ for this and that.

VERY expensive.. VERY pushy.. lousy skills.. service not good.. underneath almost all my nails got polish stains, when i got one of them to clean for me, she actually told me she can't do it, cos that will cause the surface polish coat to crack.. what kind of excuses is that? Is this the kind of nail service to get for the amount of money you paid? Can you imagine.. $41 for a set of french manicure. For their package breakdown, each manicure/pedicure is actually equivalent to the normal non-package price in other shops, that makes us think that it's really worthy to sign their package. This is my first experience with them and I swear that will be my last too.

i feel their nail art is tOO expensive! i went to the one at Jurong Point, omg, a simple nail cost $3-$5 per nail! They are really very simple nail art! i ended up learnt how to do it myself!

Maybe you all can try Hollywood Nails. Their service is good.
Went there last week. They are having one for one full mani & pedi promotion now. Worth trying it out. Their skills are GREAT! I done graduation on my nails and french on my toes. So pretty! Their sofa seat is so cozy... I love it. But if you are going do remember to call for appointment coz they are fully booked at times. Their contact is 63361838. They are located at Suntec City.

Anyone try it before? Please comment coz I feel like signing up a package with them on the next visit. Hear from one of the staff that they are bring new products in soon.Hmm... What do you all think?

I went to the one at boon lay once. I was working nearby during that time and everyday it seems like there's alot of people going in for their services so i thought i would give it a try.

My manicurist is from China if im not wrong and i couldn't really make out what she is saying at times. So probably that's why she didnt try to sell their packages or whatnot to me. When she finished painting my nails she asked me if i wanna apply quick dry, i thought it was free initially until she said there's an extra charge of $3.

So i said, "then its okay" and shook my head. Probably she didnt see my shaking my head or what but she just went ahead and applied on my nails. The total bill came up to $29. I thought it was expensive because later on i went to meet my friends at Cathay and Strip offer mani and pedi services and it was only $25.

Anyway, anyone have any recommendations as to where i can get good packages and where the manicurists/pedicurist are meticulous?

    TIA!
