yeah nail palace is such a scam!
they said it is a manicure / pedicure.
in the end, i realise it does not include basecoat and topcoat.
gotta pay another separate amount if you want those.

for CASE u jus hav to pay abt $5 for the money to check on nail palace's business registration number and company info.. and CASE will try to understand e situation from u, and will confirm with u ***** they gave u wrong info then u sign up..
CASE will then inform to small claim tribunal, if representative from Nail Palace didnt turn up, means they lose e case..

I always go to the Nail Palace at AMK Hub. Signed their package last June because it is near my place. But I totally regretted it. Though they are very friendly and chat with you, their skills are very bad. Some nails are not the same length, the shapes are not consistent, I always have bubbles on it, and the polish doesn't last long. They are always pushing to sell me package when I'm almost done with mine.

Finally finished, sort of, my package. I'm only left with 2 scrubs and 1 pedicure. And I'm just gonna leave it as that, not going back there anymore because I don't wanna go through the pushing experience to sign on to another package. NEVER EVER!!!!!

Hai.. I shld have check the blog earlier so I know about nail palace.. Now I end up spending almost $2k there.. As each time I go they kept asking me to sign packages. Is true u just can't sit there and relax at all.. Even I am in a hurry they can talk till so so long till u sign the package. The most recent case is that they said that they can do an installment for the package and THEN when I go to pay another told me that there will be service charge by the bank!! Why wasn't I inform when she ask me to sign the package. So I reconfirm with them. They said is 3.5% charge by bank. Ok! After thinking I still sign up. Guess what they said I need to call & talk to my bank that I am doing an installment. I spend about 1/2 hr there on the phone being transfer here & there. THEN was told is 5% service charge!! I was real pissed off! 1st: U wana sell ur product but pls make sure u tell ur customer everything abt the installment service charge everything! End up I had to pay the extra 5% service charge! Then after everything I settle w the bank, they! Don't even know how to swipe a credit card for installment! MY GOD! 1ST TIME I KNOW THAT! STUPID ENOUGH! I really feel like scolding them but don't think it make any use also. All the while I am being to nice to sign up for so many packages & buying the product. In the end I told them u just swipe & charge me the whole amount no need to do installment since they don't know how. Hai. I take up that package is because I can use installment no need to pay all at once but end up I had to pay all in 1 time. After my package finish I will NEVER return to Nail Palace again! & I seen from flower pod forum actually Nail Palace & Citibelle is link. No wonder! They r very pushy also!!

oh no!! i just convert my 5 classic manicure sessions to 17 sessions of pedicure yesterday. they didnt mention about the bank charges. just swipe $361 to uob credit card. i am paying by 6 months installment, that is their minimal mths though i wanted to pay in 3 installments. i sign package at nail palace cos they got different locations = more convenient for me though i always go to amk hub outlet to do since it is nearer to my place & the newest outlet

can sign package there.. so my package is 361 + 91 (5sessions of classic manicure)..so average out is around $26.50. still cheap for classic pedicure using opi nail polish. they are abit hard sell towards end of package, just act no $ say no credit card then they may give u lower prices or stop asking u. In my case, i *** economy crisis blah blah then she gives me the so called lowest price. which i believe can go lower.

those who sign up packages, better religiously go every 2 weeks or before they close down and u get back nothing

recently the one at MS (nails r us or something) close down and many customers are unhappy because they still have unused sessions
even MS management can't do anything
go to CASE also no results because the business ceased operations

but seeing that people are so easily being 'conned' to sign up packages, it seems like their business is still good and can continue to operate and 'con' more people

ok.. i just sign up yday.. 17 sessions since i dun really go for manicure. some of the amk hub manicurists cannot mk it .. some ok. since i am doing pedicure, if they dont do the job well, still not obvious. for manicure..it is very obvious. i use my own base n top coat.. they use lousy those $2 top coat

previous time my manicure was done by 1 china girl.her service sucks. got air bubble on my finger. yday manicure was done by Betty, i think she is a Msian. not bad.. she still looks at both of my hands fingernails to check whether they are of the same height. next time i go back to her. she doesnt push package to me.

i was tryin my luck to convert 5 classic mani to pedi. so top up 361 to get 17 sessions. any mani/pedi salon to recommend? i still have 2 session at nail palette (centerpt) 6 sessions at $125, cheaper~ but then they do a rush job if they are gg on lunch break. then the prev good manicurist has left so i dun want to continue my sessions there.

I really advise customers who don't like their service do not continue to go and those who has packages should go frequent to use up package. Just in case anything happens.. This nail parlor sounds fishy.. how can base and top coat be additional charge and use lousy stuff. sigh

Nail Palace

I use to hv a 1K plus package w them. It was about $100 per session as it was considered their treatment pedicure.. I would say that the treatment itself was effective but the service sucks........... I tried outlets from Tiong Bahru to Tanjong Pagar to Bencoolen to AMK as all the therapists who worked on me totally cannot make it type. Except the first one who was transferred to Jurong Point aftr i signed the package with her and Jurong was too way out for me.

At AMK when i still had four sessions left, they alr started bugging me to take on a new package.. even before that, every visit they would ask you if u wanted to add some stuff to your feet soak which cost, i cant rem (think 5 or 10 bucks more?. If you decline, some start showing sour faces...

Nvr was i able to enjoy my sessions in peace.. as even if they finished bugging you, you would be able to hear other therapists bugging other customers... DUH, and OMG i not sure if the tiong bahru branch renovated but its OMG so cramp..

I was so relieved i finally finished my treatments with them. I am now with Polished Divas Nail Lounge at Bugis.. So much cheaper and most of all so much more peace to my ears....haha

If they do this to me no matter what they said to me i will continue to say no.. i would make it firm to them that i do not want to sign up or do anything.. i've experienced such places before and it really upsets me. I think this place is really condemned.. I saw the one at tampines. It looks so empty.
