Do you prefer the nail place to recommend colour or choose your own?

sometimes dark pink or dark purple......

I choose on my own, but only once i let the gal choose for me, because of doing french nailart, as i don't really knows what colors is nice.

Most of the time I choose my own nail color. I used to pairing my nail color to my clothes so I choose either same color that I wanna wear or the color that will blend perfectly to the clothes I am planning to wear in a week. Pairing it with accessories is also my mood sometimes. So I never ask the manicurist unless I'm not in the mood for fashion.
