anyone know of a good, cheap & effective brand of cuticle oil?
my hands & nails are very dry these past few weeks.
i've tried to use hand cream & lotions as often and it does help the dry skin, but my cuticles are still so dry.

Has anyone tried Avoplex nail oil and Nail Evny natural nail
strengthener? TIA
Try Nail Tek Renew. It's anti fungus too.
I know that Dr. Haschka has cuticle oil too. In a pen form too so that makes application all the more easier.
Not yet tried b4 but the SA told me that it' one of their bestsellers after the rose handcream (which i'm addicted to!)

The SA tried it on me during the hand message session. Was very impressed so didn't buy that finally. The rose handcream is a better product IMO.Originally posted by ponine

cuticle oil or cuticle cream?
I mean do we really need them?
Don't some nail polish have conditioning and repair properties?
Cuticle oil makes a huge difference to how long I can keep my manicure/pedicure looking good. I've tried both OPI Avoplex and Creative Solar Oil, and the latter is much better! Creative products can be found at Transdesign and at Taka (a lot pricier). Dr Hauschka is supposedly the best, but really too expensive for me.
saresha, can you explain how a cuticle oil can help you mantain your mani/pedi?Originally posted by saresha

It keeps my cuticles looking good, even when they start to grow a bit. My skin isn't really dry, but ragged looking cuticles can really spoil an otherwise still-immaculate manicure. I dislike the feel of hand creams and they don't do much for my cuticles anyway.
They really do make a difference. Try using one regularly and see!
thanks for the info =)Originally posted by saresha

try opi cuticle oil avolpex.... its good.....
Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows how often should one use cuticle oil? Like once a week? Or as and when you feel is needed?
I do notice a slight difference now that I use cuticle oil to massage my cuticles. It is softer and the edges are not so ragged. I have been doing this for 3-4 days already, like once every other day. Am I over-doing it?
Thanks in advance!![]()
