any babes saw the Chinese news yesterday about the current rave in Japan.
THE DIY NAIL POLISH AND NAIL ART MACHINE???
Apparantly, its a machine that has over 60 or more nail art designs. U just place ur finger into the slot and the machine will analyse the size of your nail and your chosen nail art design get imprinted on your nails within a minute. Fast and qucik, no hassle of waiting for your nails to dry and so on.
Cost per nailart is also quite cheap
Sorry if my information given is not very accurate coz my chinese is of a F9 standard but that is the gist of it.
Do u think its workable for Singapore??
I saw that news a while ago...
Workable? I say that depends. A lot of girls do manicure, but not alot do nail art. Unless it's really really cheap.
Moreover, you just missed the festive season when a lot of party or proms going on.![]()

how much does the machine costs?
i think good manicure should complement nail art![]()
Hi natnatviv,
Not too sure how much the machine will cost but i'm sure its goin to be expensive.
besides anything brought into Singapore from overseas is always expensive. For u we know, after the machine has been brought in, the cost of the DIY nailart would probably be more expensive than having it done at the manicurists.![]()
Hi candeecake,
Oops...just heard it..mb i'm lagging![]()
agree with you that not many do nailart. we'll just wait and see if they will bring in the machine to SG.
Yup, all the proms and Dinner and Dance have just passed.![]()
Ooo I![]()

nail arts. Will never go without it. Think that machine is pretty good. Only S$2.20 per nail but it barely takes a minute rather than two whole hours.
Personally don't think that it will work here.![]()
Think it's going to be like NeoPrint... will die down after a while.
Yup, maybe can do a "hit and run" like bubble tea/ 'luo han' fish.
Yup agree with u babe, that's even if it does come to Singapore. Its going t be a luohan fish/bubble tea no. 2. hit and runOriginally posted by Queenie

Sure if this machine is brought to SG, sure got a lot ot copycats that will improvise and come up with something more WOW and WOW![]()
SGD2.20 per nail?I rather DIY, using toothpick to prick some flora design. it work just as good, only that it's not pro. if you don't mind, I can do it $0.50 per nail

agree with most of you, if anyone were to bring in the machine here, it's gonna be a hit-and-run kind of business. It looks so "factory operated" to me, just imagine, every lady you see on the street will have more or less the same kind of nail art design by default, no more creativity, not to mention originality, this is so BLEH...... :puke:
i think with Japan's dispenser-machine culture, it's possible for "Auto-nail art" to take off. but to most other people, the loss of personalised service and the authenticity of handpainted designs will turn them off this machine nail art.
Where can i get pretty DIY nail art?![]()

Saw this makeshift cart at Esplande selling quite pretty nailart. maybe you should them check it out
hey Qiu, I just bought some nail art stick-ons from SaSa for CNY. Some designs are like 9.90 and some like 15.90. Second demigoddess, look around in pushcarts. I saw a pushcart at the entrance of John Little Parkway selling cute nail art stick-ons. Shouldn't be too difficult to find nowadays.
