hi girls,

do you all know where i can get really really fancy nail arts? preferably in town area? my sister is getting married and i want to treat her to a very fancy bridal package like those seen in japanese magazines..

nowadays doing nails can be pretty "scary". just went for my pedi, she hard sell non-stop... i feel like flashing to her my namecard so that she can cut her sales talk off.... anyway, my toes are finally presentable.

YA I AGREE.. been to afew salons they hard sell alot.. the worst experience was at nail palace.. n after that i swear not to visit again.. recently visited a salon in bedok they didnt hard sell any products.. felt very comfortable with that..

Veralyn - i just DIY-ed my hands (i nearly "died" gel-ing them), didn't want to go through the "agony" with my toes blah... i normally go out or go back to my nail school to get my pedi done to learn and gather more experience.

winterwhite - i thought to traveling to bedok, but i need to rush back home, so i "settle" at one salon in tampines one.

u can try milly's at far east plaza. i did my hair there and i saw a lady doing fancynail art, from the magazine. i look thru the price and i find the charges really reasonable. like only 30-70 for designs.

ladies please allow me to vent my frustrations here.
I made a pedi appointment at PINC for tomorrow about a month ago and specifically ask for the last day before the surcharge hence was told it was tomorrow but l was just told less than an hour ago that there will be a $5 surcharge!!!!!
My frustrations are made worst as I was actually on half day today and I could have made the appointment today and have my pedi done without the charge!!!!
I got a call back from PINC again and was told they cant waive the charge as its a company policy and asked if I am going down tomorrow. HELLO.....I am not going to allow myself to be slapped with this uncalled for charge!

Thanks for lending a ear....this has just spoil my otherwise great Friday.
