i totally made an accont once i saw this thread lol.

PINC is really that horrid? Gosh, i'm thankful i didnt try to work there during my school holidays then. Because i'm really interested in nail art, i'd wanted to get a part time job there but whenever i walked past the causeway point branch i'd chicken out when i see the people working there - they kind of give me this weird vibe ..

but on a side note - sorry if this post is irrelevant to PINC - because i'm really interested in nail art i've wanted to try free lancing although i'm not a certified or professional nail tech. if anyone is interested do contact me!

I have been going to PINC northpoint for quite a while already, n even though their service might not be impeccable, but i would think it's good enough. they are pretty friendly to customers, n i think i like their no-hard-selling alot.

    Default PINC at Northpoint

I went to do my manicure last sat. did not expect that they charge another $5 surcharge for gelish polish. They already charge me $10 surcharge for express mani and pedi, total I paid $15 surcharge.

    Horrible experience @ Northpoint Pinc

Had my usual gelish done by Janelle. Everything was alright till the latest. The moment she started with my nails she started chatting with a colleague of hers who seem so free to the extend of playing iPhone n watching movies from itMy gelish nail was so badly done up due to her negligence and nt even a word of apology ' Sorry !' She assure me dun worry, she can just repaint over to the old budge that appeared. While she was trying to remedy the mess she did, she saw her next appt came in. She hurriedly did mine while the colour not even dried up, she started to paint the next coatWorst nightmare came, very quickly she told me it's ' Done!' to my greatest horror, it turned out worst than the previous. Where is the professionalism of the staff? I wonder if the boss is aware of the attitude of her staff??!! Yishun, may not be an expatriates area but still you should show your professionalism to your job, people Do not forget that you are in service!) Many at times I have witnessed the staff watching movies from iPhone ( under the counter) some even go to the extreme of putting the iPhone on the lap to reply messages while attending to customer. Where's the image of the company? Dont forgot that we still have expats around. What will ppl think? Words spread around fast! Esp not something good. There are even times when other customers walked in some expats and some local with the staff seated down playing or watching iPhone when customers walked in. That's truly bad image for company!!!!!

    Hi

just an update since my last post. i had finished my pkg with Pinc already (finally!). took sometime as I had packages from other places as well. actually i feel that the service is not as bad as what other people have been saying, like the quality i have been getting is actually good (i went to Plaza Sing most of the time). However, I did not continue to get the package because it was too expensive I feel, and one thing that I really don't like is the surcharges. If wanna add base and top coat must charge too. HELLO? this is like basic in all classic mani/pedi? haha ok end of rant

went CWP Pinc some time back... the seats werent pink anymore? service was quick, really quick! i was like chased out of the salon within 20 minutes? ok, i did an express pedicure, but... i think my polish needs time to dry too? what makes it worst, they had so many seats available and it wasnt packed! totally different from what i had experienced at PS Pinc. the indian/malay took her time, quite patient with me trying colors. only thing... she kept asking me to buy some fungus drip. :x

    feel so cheated...

Joined this forum as i saw this thread and wish to share my bad bad experience since last week to today.

Did my nails a week ago at causeway point branch, was surprised to know that the girl did the soft gel for me instead of the hard gel i asked for. (i was not really knowledgeable about manicure/nail stuff)

Even though I specifically requested to have the gel that could last for 2 to 3 months and throughout the session, i kept asking the girl if i were to come back after 2 or 3 months to remove this nail polish, how long will it take and how much will it cost (which she replied me with the cost).

Ended up the girl deny that she did not know i wanted to do the hard gel and instead she did the soft gel for me which costs about 60+ plus the nail art (which is badly done) to be about 50. i didnt suspect anything was amiss and pay after she said everything was done so i didnt know that they did it wrong for me as this is the first time i do gelish for my nails.

that day their staff who was supposed to do my nails was on urgent leave, they even changed my appointment to be later than the timing on what was initially agreed. as i was concerned about doing my nails, i agreed to go at a later timing. the girl doing my nails seems to be rushing for time, what's more ridiculous was that she seems even more rush when her next customer walked in and kept telling me that the gel dries up very fast, so i can dun wait very long before she apply the next coat.

End of the story: i didnt get what i wanted and the irritating thing was that the nail art on my finger actually dropped off BITS on just the 2nd day after i did my nails (the girl on the phone say it could last at least 3 weeks just now when i called).

I felt so cheated. just called up the place and confronted them and it was her words against mine. Furthermore, dun think they even care, they couldnt answer me on the spot and gave lame excuse of being busy (got a lot of customers etc) then call up after some time to see what i want. they couldnt do anything and just say they could help my fix my nails (for those which are not done properly, i rejected)

I will NEVER go back to PINC.
