oh wow...more stuff to add to my MUA wish list now...this is not good....

when u say it's available in nail salons, do u mean that u can buy it there? or when u do your nails there they will use the OPI colours on your nails?

It's from US, ranges betwn sale prices of more than USD$5 to Normal retail prices of USD$8 incl. tax.
Sold in SG ONLY in certain nail salons for SGD$22 which is highway robbery.
If you arrange a CP from US, incl. airmail, would come up to abt SGD$14-16.

The ones in my small collection I *like*:
Nomad's Dream/ Shanghai Shimmer/ Chicago Champagne Toast-
Nomad's more peach (that flashes pink), more frosty, more shimmery, version of Queen. Nice name!
Shanghai's as frosty, as shimmery but more cool pink version of Nomad. Taupe undertones. Ok name!
Chicago Champagne Toast's as frosty, as shimmery but more cool pink version of Shanghai. Great name!
Sonora Sunset- Shimmery rose with coral.
Vampire State Building- Think of vampire blood (ie. blood that's dark... no shimmer). Kick-ass name too. (I think I like this almost as much as EA Plum Shimmer). The name plays a huge role.
Nutcracker Sweet- Such an interesting colour! GREY BASE! But definite sheen of peachy-pink. Think of those DREAMY dresses- light grey gossamer organzas with an undercoat of pink. Not enough shine/ gloss though (or maybe it's just less percitibly glossy compared to others). Optional topcoat of glitter (I was apprehensive, I've NEVER used glitter before cos it's rather OTT to me... but this isn't)! So fine and in different colours, the whole effect is what I would think that (I forget her name, the actress was Michelle Pff... can't spell either) the Queen would wear in Midsummer Night's Dream. Weirdest thing is this came as an extra and I'm liking it more than the TAMER (abit boring, everything kinda looks nudey-pinky-peachy-understated for MANICURE rather than pedicure) colours I chose. Had chosen them trawling thru PV, duh. Oh, of course I love the name!

saw these OPIs at the nailpolish at the new DFS. its a whooping $22+ each. way too much as compared with prices in the US. :x

i did it on a sunday and there's only me and my fren going for manicures.

OPI is selling at a ridiculous price at DFS . i will never buy from there unless i got no contacts in MUA to get me one.

i just had my nails painted with italian love affair..i think i still prefer pistol packin pink...italian love affair is a bit too bright...it looks fine on my toes but a bit loud for my fingers

I only tried OPI nail polish once at Kimage, i find it chip after abt 5 days!

How much does OPI nail polish costs, by the way? The manicurist who served me told me secretly their nail polishes are not 'very good'. Why? Anyone knows?

I am a nail polish fan too! But seems like you don't find a lot of brands in Singapore.

u can get a bottle of OPI at DFS Scotts @ $22.95 each.

i also tried manicure at Kimage during its promo, and it chipped and peeled after 7 days (on the 7th day i went swimming, so maybe the chlorine did have some chemical reaction with the n/p).

my friend, who had manicure on the same day as me, lasted much longer, although the tips are a bit worn.

if the nailpolish chipped, it maybe due to the poor quality of the base/top coats applied. IMO i dun think OPI is that lousy in quality.

I like the subtle shimmer of OPI, which catches under the sunlight. Faves include:

I have Shanghai Shimmer but I find this too light for me.

I'm hooked onto OPI nail polish after my first bottle ( Italian Love Affair). I especially like the fact that the nail polish colour goes on nails as-seen-in-bottle. Very true colour!

Any recommendations as to what colours is nice ? I have only 2 now: I'm not really a waitress and Italian Love Affair!
