Nail Salons @ Yishun, anyone?

Heaven is having a promo for their gel nails at $99. Wondering if it is worth it or not... Anyone tried? Any reviews?

I went to Heaven for their spa pedicure. It was truly a good experience, the girl who did my spa pedicure was really meticulous and thorough. Compared to my experience at Nail Palace, she really spent time cleaning up my toes thoroughly. The prices are much cheaper than Nail Palace too. Really satisfied with the service. However, it is rather a small place thus may have to book appointment in advance if you are doing spa.

I did my made to order nails for my wedding at Nailz Niche too. Their wedding designs are exquisite and oh so sweet.

Initially I was quite sceptical about the double-sided tape but it held very well and lasted till I peeled them off. As good as glue but w/o harming the nail surface.

They've got good after service too. I sent the nails back for touch up (the lace had a bit of edge coming off) and they said any time the nails have got problem, feel free to send it back to them.

There's one nail place named emblazon near the mrt just few mins walk. It's along the coffee-shop S11 area. My friend and I find the place not really bad and there are good range of colours. They do offer other services like spa mani pedi, bridal etc. And they are having promotion for first time customer for classic mani + pedi @ $30. We just did simple colouring thus I'm not too sure about the design. More about their service you can look thru emblazon.com.sg.

regarding the "Unlimited OPI polish application" for Heaven @ Northpoint, it means that they will help us remove our current colour, and apply a new colour without any extra charges right? no shaping of nails included right?

Mani and pedi $42. i did french so add $5. My french is not the white tips kind. She intro me to do silver tips so i try try. I added seche topcoat so add $2.

Anyway, worth going as the auntie (from china) really gives good service. No hard sell - she just mention take package is $35. i don't intend to sign package so i did not ask her the package is how many times.

Anyway the people at the shop said they just shifted from chong pang. So Yishun gals, one more beauty place to go to!

I must comment on the lack of nail places in Yishun. Northpoint - PINC - expensive and service no good. Heaven - I have been trying to book an appt but always no slot! seems very popular!

Emblazon by the park (opposite Yishun MRT) - service is appalling...

okie do try them out! I'm very happy with my nails' look now!

I went to a nail salon at Khatib area with a shiokdeal discount coupon and it's really good.
The rate is $35 for gelish manicure if i didn't recall wrongly. I am thinking of going back to her but if there are better deals, I don't mind trying!

there's another nail salon i will like to recommend and it's called Nail Folio at Blk 293, Yishun St 22, #01-251 (near to Mac). Classic Mani and Pedi at $50 only. But CNY surcharges apply in Jan 2011.

Customers are enjoying the meticulous clearing of cuticle and rough edges on the soles. Promised to be good and you will come back for more. Uses only OPI colours and GELISH that last for 4-6 weeks.
