It's just cloth material. But a better quality one. Seems waterproof to me but if you are drenched head to toe, doesn't really help IMO.
Does anyone know where to get pictures of burberry bags? Am going to ask someone to buy it for me in London so I need pictures but the burbery webbie doesn't have the model I want.
2 places - ebay & online HK boutique has it
does anyone know if Burberry blue label range of bags still available in Tokyo? if yes, where can i find the boutique that carries it? thanks!
Hi,
from what I know, Burberry blue label is for sale in Japan only. If you found it in other countries, it may not be authenthic one, as I've seen alot of Blue label imitation. You can try finding it in Japan Taka.

Hihi natnatviv,
Ya, some local seller actually import the bag from Japan for sale. Some are authenthic, some are not. So beware.![]()
hi jolene, thanks for the info. it seems that japan is not carrying the blue label range anymore. i saw a few people selling in auctions, but wondering how to see if it's authentic or not.

Ya I saw it on auction too. Some are not authenthic. Can see from the quality and most important, the colour.I know 1 seller from auction, she selling authenthic one. But quite expensive.
They claim to be authenthic, maybe because, theirs are authenthic imitation?Haha, joking. Some say that their are ship to Hongkong and Korea for sale and ship to Singapore again. It better to get it directly from Japan, if you have got any friends going to Japan, ask them to look out for you.![]()
Blue Label is still available in Japan. Was told by my friend who goes Japan very often that they stopped producing the pastel-coloured 'dumpling' bags. they came out with other models for the new season.
Is it possible to have fake ones in Japan as well? Because I saw there are some shops in HK, selling fake ones and real ones together~~ and they are around the same price!!!
BTW, I saw this one real cheap in Singapore, it's only about S$500! Big one is $600. Am I correct?

In general (not just for Blue Label bags), The first thing I'd look out for is the alignment of prints from the end of the bag. The stripes on the two side should end on each side of the bag at the same place, and meet at the same point. Not sure if you get what I mean? I’m not too good at describing
For those Blue Label “dumpling” bags they have this blue coloured label sticking out the side of the bag. The spelling should be “BURBERRY” and not “Burberrys”. All labels with an “s” behind are definitely fakes.
There are also some bags on the market with the Blue Label tag in metal, and I find that all that I’ve seen in a shop (at FEP, this shop selling all branded stuff) are fakes because of the “s” behind Burberry. Yet the SAs claim they are real.
Also note the colour combination and texture of the bag. For example, the “dumpling” bags are made of different material from the main line sold in Takashimaya, those beige checked ones. I see people carrying a bag in those beige leather with black handles (the Taka type) in the shape of a dumpling bag with a Burberrys Blue Label tag attached to it. Totally wrong!! I know the dumpling series has a beige coloured one, but that shade is totally different from the shade at Takashimaya. Material is much softer as well.
The dumpling series is very popular indeed… saw lots of gals carrying. And most of them look really authentic.![]()
For the Blue Label bags, I think you can look at the colours and the alignment of the bags. There are some colours that don't exist in the market at all. Experience buyers will know how to differentiate the colours.
Some say that if there is a blue label tag inside the bag, the bag is fake. It's totally wrong! There are many new designs that are with a Blue Label tag inside the bag!! And also the craftmanship of Blue Label bags are not as good as Burberry London. Don't mistake a real one as fake. =)
The authentic Blue Label bag doesn't have a mobile phone compartment at the inner lining. Just a zip compartment and yes, no Blue Label tag.
