Which bag to get, Prada or Miu Miu?

I always lusted over the prada gauffre satchel in ivory...though the leather one is really nice, i can't pay so much for a bag, so i never thought of getting one though i've always moved back and forth with the nylon one...

i have a miu miu bow satchel in alluminio grey being shipped to me by next week...i'm nervous about the quality issues of miu miu (as i recently switched out of LV, though i still like some bags, due to quality issues i've had with my damier koala wallet and the fact that everyone has the same bags!)...it also seems like the leather on the miu miu bags are not as durable..

i found a prada gauffre satchel in ivory (nylon) at a much lower price than retail...condition is brand new, really...

since the bow satchel may be as high as $500 more than the prada gauffre...what should i do? i would really like to keep only 1, and not buy both...

any help i can get from you girls? thanks!

have u gotten your bag? what was your choice in the end? i'm deciding between prada tessuto 1792 and miumiu mini coffer!
both are classics. but tessuto is easier to take care of and match with outfits, while the coffer colours are so pretty and the calf skin feels so luxurious!!

Miu Miu's bow satchel is probably my favourite. i am heading to the outlet in florence late this month... PM me if you want to know the prices !

I love both of this brands! So I thought to revive this thread since it have a lot of comments regarding my favourite brands already.

Charmine, i saw that bag at Dfs, they are still selling. But Ion do have some new arrivals too, they have more collections over there.

IMO both brands are about the same and I agree that Prada appeals to more mature group whereas Miu Miu is for the younger ones. So it is best to go for the design of the bag than the brand.

I also agree. it should always be based on your preferred design.. what I notice Prada design is more classy and formal while Miu Miu is fun and sophisticated

Whichever you buy it would be nice and pretty. But currently I am starting to love Miu Miu because of its uniqueness. As for Prada its like my eyes used to this brand which I am seeing all around but Miu Miu still somehow a few people chose this over LV and Prada plus Chanel.
