Is nappa charm a very old design? I recently laid my eyes on it and feel like getting it! Is it made of lamb skin and is the grey or pinkish colour nicer?

Yes. There are 2 type of materials for coffer mughetto. The shiny material is glazed calfskin which looks more pinkish. Yours is lambskin which is more matte. The lambskin color tone differs from the calfskin although both are named as mughetto.

Yours should be mughetto. Seen it displayed in SG Miu Miu store before

thanks lapland. now you mention you seen it at sg store before i feel so cheated. i've asked which colors are exclusive and not avail widely and he told me mughetto only sold in tw n hk plus limited pcs.. shld have do my research before buying.
got worried the card might be wrong when i search online for mughetto.

meaffy: the colors reflect differently under different lighting. it's dusty pink under white light and browish under daylight.

your bag looks so yummy....gosh...makes me tempted to get a coffer...but the last time i tried carrying it at the boutique, i found it difficult to open it and take my things...plus it's kinda heavy too...nonetheless, it's still a very beautiful bag!

actually it's not very heavy and i do agree with difficulties to retrieve item from bag when carrying. but they've a seperate attached handle to make it longer.
my main concern is because it's lambskin, it will be dirty easily and wear off due to the nature of soft surface.
been thinking whether to sell of and get lv. but frd are telling me, with the same amount, LV material is not worth it although its more lasting, cos it's mainly canvas n not leather.

Actually most important is which one yoy like best because you will be using it often to get maximum millege out of this bag.

If you like this design, maybe can check with local Miu Miu store see if can exchange for same bag in a different colour ?

But yah... ever since i bought a lambskin bag in light silvery gold... and it got stained horribly by my clothes (and vice versa ) ... i swear i will not buy a lambskin bag in LIGHT colour ever again.

Hard to maintain and easy to spoil. Heartache!

i went to local miumiu store. currently they only have white, black, yellow and forgotten the last color. not very appealing and it's the mughetto shade that chg my mind to buy MM instead of LV. my frd did advise me not to carry MM when wearing jeans.. judging from ur experience think i gotta take extra care of my bag. think i'll keep it and work harder for the next bag. cos MM seems younger n girly.. plus nt so common

Was trying it on at Paragon and could not bear to get my hands off it The next time I went in to take another look, it was sold out already End up getting another bag in mughetto instead. But I'm still thinking about the lambskin coffer till now ... congrats on your new buy Think getting it in TW or HK should be cheaper than SG

Good that you had made up your mind.

Perhaps you can check with Miu Miu staff if you can use any anti-stain spray on this leather as a preventive measure against stains.

lapland: i think it's abt 200 cheaper.. local selling abt $26++ right? but tw n hk have more color i suppose.

lakopio: i did ask but they say not advisable to use anything on lambskin. say let it wear naturally and get seasoned would be better.

That's indeed famous design by Miu Miu and highly raved too. Cause of much demand on the market, lots of fakes out there which is soooooo annoying.
Anyway, regardless of that, that's one of the worthy bags to pay the money Enjoy the baggie dear.

carabb thanks dearie! i bought an Anya Hindmarch bag, which is very spacious but its in a sughero like color and its still not what i'm dreaming of!! This mughetto smooth matt leather peggy has been my dream since Nov, and i HAD TO GET IT!
Thanks for clearing my doubts! I saw the pebbled sughero at Ion orchard, and also brown in distressed leather - both are dissapointment - $1930 and $1970 respectively.

So happy i decided to get this mughetto - i PRAY its the smooth leather you are talking about because it looks smooth to me !!

Happy for you. Due to the light colour, remember try not to carry it against denim jeans in case of colour transfer.
