Girls, i need help. I cannot decide if I should buy LV or Prada or Miu Miu.

for Miu Miu, i saw this particular design where u can handcarry, sling or shoulder .... its like play with the chain. I think the name is Lux shopper?

which one is more durable in the long run? Miu or LV ? does Lux shopper requires special care and does it go on sales in sg or its like classics design so fixed price? Thanks

As much as I like Miu miu's bags, I really don't think they are as long lasting as LV's canvas (depends on which LV range you are refering to also) My charm bag has some areas which are peeling because of abrasion when I sling it on my shoulder. I think some gals also did mention about their bags turning mouldy due to our humid weather.

Prada's leather bags are pricer compared to Miu Miu's as well.

Do you have a picture of the bag you wish to buy? I'm sure the gals here would be able to tell you if it has ever gone on sale

This is the one but i saw red at Paragon. Not sure of the exact name of the color n if this is lux shopper? no idea abt the sizes too. does this design comes in several colors or just one?

the one i saw is red with slightly shiny leather...... looks pretty good but at that time i thought pink is more suitable for me... but after some thoughts, i feel that red is more unique... will red be on going color or its like seasonal color? i was told its $1800+ in SG but i have no idea if thats the disc price or the usual price (classic design)......... any idea? hows the price in Paris? Easy to find red? and i think there's few types of leather for this design too? Wow while typing, i already feel tough to describe the bag to friend helping me with the purchase....

i am thinking of LV Tivoli PM and this design.......... either i get one or I get this design on Dec or what if there's sales in Europe... no hurry at all. but i really cannot take care of leather things because they turn mouldy once they are not in use. my leather shoes etc that i rarely wear all have moulds etc even after i send in for professional cleaning. i wonder if the material is more shiny = easier maintenance

This is the Vitello Lux Model No. RT0383.It comes in different colors for different seasons.

Although there are many people who claimed that leather bags aged beautifully...it's true only if you really take good care of it. Clean and condition it regularly and protect it from scratches.

I personally feel that LV's damier canvas range is very durable and no vachetta, like the monogram canvas range to worry about.

I amm sooo lemming for a miu miu coffer in black, but i'm someone whose quite used to putting my bags everywhere, i dont really take extra special care of them after getting it for a few weeks.. :S maybe i have no fate with leather bags..

sassification: it depends on the exchange rate that day. when i was in Taiwan last Nov, with an exchange rate of 21.8, i managed to get my bow satchel at ~S$1700 (it costs NT$38500) after VAT return. if purchased locally, i would have to pay S$1990. i'm going to Taipei tomorrow. i'll help you check when the sales last until but to my knowledge, the coffer never ever goes on sale in black though.

Just that if the leather is hard to maintain in the first place, then i really have to think hard because i think i'm similar to sassification pattern .

Does anyone knows if there's few different type of red (tones) and leather finishing for this Vitello Lux model? I clicked on the photo links but there isnt any red, nearest is plum? i think if i cannot get this by now, maybe have to wait till next year since dec might be clearing those winter/autumn color? dont think will have such bright colors.....

I have another qn, will the bag sag easily and lose its shape in the center portion?

I don't have the bag that you are thinking of getting so not much input for that. But MiuMiu's colours and leather finish change every season, so as long as they are still producing the model, there's always new colours to drool over. I'm sure you will see something you like eventually.

The fuschia pink bag that you posted... I have not seen it in the Vitello Lux model before...but I might be wrong. In anycase, this colour is last season and was on sale last month already. So may not be able to find anymore.

I do previously have this Vitello Lux Shopper but is now adopted by another lady.. It does come in a bigger size but is very big (can put in A4 size documents), unless u like big bags otherwise i don think u will like. The bag will not sag as the leather is not the soft type. In terms of maintanence, if is distressed leather, it is very easy to maintain.. is basically zero maintanence.. I think for F/W 09 season, MM is coming out with brown & antico (similar to peach colour) for this shopper bag. I personally felt that this bag is nicer than LV Tivoli & since LV Tivoli is a permanent collection probably u can wait for awhile more as the F/W 09 collection are not fully out as of now..
