I think GST usually don't come with boxes..coz when I bought mine in Paris, I asked for a box, the lady told me GST don't come with boxes but she can try to dig one out for me.

She managed to find a box big enough to put the GST in but she had to stuff the box with paper as it was slightly too big.

In Paris, Chanel bags are shipped to the store in cartons without boxes. Boxes are packed separately in another carton. I was told for Singapore, the bags are shipped to the stores in their individual boxes, hence maybe its strictly 1 bag per box.

I have not bought any Chanel bags from their boutiques yet (so far only bought vintage ones from overseas).. May I know is it possible to buy a Chanel bag from local boutiques which is around SGD2500? I'm new to this! so please help me... Thank u~!

Hi, i wish somebody could enlighten me with my quries. I bought my GST bag in mid Dec 2011 at HK airport . As it was a last min shopping before i board the plane, i only realised my bag came without the box when back in SG! the SA who served me didnt mentioned anything about the box. Now i called SG boutiques to try getting the box, but they say all chanel bags comes with only 1 box and they have no spare boxes to give me, and probably SG and HK policies are different... Has anybody bought chanel bags from HK airport before? Does it comes with a box?? Please help!

i got my GST from HK Chanel boutique and the SA asked if I wanted a box.

From what I heard, Chanel at airports may not provide box and Singapore Chanel does not have extra to give out, especially since you have not gotten it from Singapore stores.

I bought Chanel PST bout late 2011 in Singapore , about $2250 if I'm not wrong. Surprisingly, it can pretty much fit my usuals, like umbrella, makeup pouch , wallet, coin pouch etc. ( I actually have a lot of 'rubbish' I bring in my bag). I love love love Chanel as its such a classy and there's a resale value to it, heh. I am in my early 20s too, but everyone has their individual liking eh? I really want the classic flap though, but the price is rising at a really scary rate :0

Hey, yup it is possible as of september 2011, I'm not sure if there's any inflation, but my guess is yes. I got my Petite Shopping Tote at $2250 Hope it helps!

does any of you ladies have experience with CHanel singapore to repair your Chanel lambskin bags? are they able to repair wear and tear of the leather, causing some 'cuts' or tears? in the leather flap itself?

hi there, Chanel doesn't do repair of wear and tear as far as i know... but u can call Chanel to confirm that.

Chanel is very strict even with their boxes and for sure with their paperbags. The brand is really a big brand so the name on it on a box worth a lot. And I am thinking maybe it is also something to do with the piracy happening. At least their boxes is really produced exactly how many is the quantity of bags they produced also.
