Where can I go to make a ring smaller?

My SO gave me a ring (it's actually his) and now i need to make it smaller to fit me. Any idea where i can do it? It's silver. thanks in advance!

Is that a real gold? if so, maybe just head to any jellewery shop and said you wanna resize it, but there will be charges involve..

You know Chinatown got one place many jewellery shop. It is beside OG. I went there, they can change gold / white gold items etc. hth
